Both times we waited 4+ hours and staff treated us like crap.You'd think the cost of insurance/healthcare in general would be a deterrent for frivolous ER visits, but nope. Pajeets and sheboons alike will just saunter in and spend their whole evening sitting in an ER, scrolling their phone and sipping an iced coffee while waiting to see a doctor because "my knee hurt". But don't get me wrong, the whitoids do it too.The problem is just people. People are stupid and think any deviation from their baseline comfort means they should see a doctor. It's easy to assume this issue would be exacerbated by having free healthcare, but from what I've seen in US hospitals, having costly healthcare certainly doesn't discourage it. My wager is that there are a lot of people who are paying through the nose to have health insurance, so their angle is they want to get their money's worth.
