I do not know my neighbors at all even though I have lived next door for a few years. I could not care less about some bullshit like unregistered vehicles. That is petty ass bullshit to bother paying that close of attention to even notice your neighbors have unregistered vehicles

My registration sticker has been expired for like 4 years now. I got some O2 sensor bullshit that makes the check engine light turn on. About a year ago I went to try to get it inspected and it literally passed everything but somehow the computers knew my light was on it was failed. The dude doing the test seemed surprised it passed everything but also said it will probably fail because of the light. The only thing they did was put that probe into my exhaust so it was very strange that could identify that the light was on. I got the O2 sensors replaced and the light still didn’t turn off. That all being said I have a buddy that was pulled over who had an expired sticker and the cops didn’t ticket him for it. He said they were really only concerned with insurance.

Also a lot of people just leave cars sitting for months in parking spots because they need repairs or they haven't renewed the registration/insurance. So they don't want to get busted if they're out driving it. Had a buddy who worked in the office of a rental housing complex. Every month they'd have to slap a sticker on some broken down car or two sitting in a spot that had been there for months. They'd see the expired tags or a flat tire. They'd call a tow service to get it out of there. Every time the truck would show up a bunch of jeets or blacks would come running out begging not to tow the car
