its so dishonest because it's not about crude oil. you can get plenty of that from the US or russia. it's specifically about oil from the middle east, which is the kind of oil that's used to refine diesel. those supplies have been greatly diminished for many months now due to the strait being closed and saudi pipelines being raped. neither the USA or russia can replace that oil because it's not same type of oil. the problem is diesel, and how it affects inflation since diesel is used by transportation vehicles, farming equipment and so on.
