Green and yellow should theoretically make everything brighter and easier to see. It would feel like going full Matrix but it's sad that there's not much creativity when it comes to lights at night. I get that they have to meet a certain visibility safety standard but it would be nice to see some interesting colours at night too.

That light color was not nice. I am 28 and it was like a reminder that technology had hardly progressed since they came out with color TV. Life felt pretty stagnant before e bikes and stuff. Childhood sucked in the 2000s.
>>543289888yeah 29 here alot of early genz was just living in the ruins of the 90s and even 80s alot of the same old hardware and renos from the same time, the accumulated knick nacks and generations of toys, coming after such a consumerist generation ours just got stuck in the lonelier leftovers, less kids in our generation meant less of a cultural mark being left by us. and coming after such a large generation we were just surrounded by their old dead culture and junk. i think thats why we were all so eager to steamroll it all and build up everything in a new minimalistic and more modern feeling time. when i look at how i furnish my home its alot more institutional, devoid of any pop culture or history, coloured lighting and the humm of my pc fan keeping me cozy.

The houses in the cities here didn't increase several-fold in value like in New York or elsewhere because of nothing. They were practically worthless until people began flipping and remodeling them. Only then did people start buying them and supply started to get strained. That architecture has aged badly and the houses with it look spooky and disturbing IRL. New York had a declining population for a long time, and so did several other cities, because they looked and were like a house of horrors.
