Under someone benevolent, socialism is actually a good thing. Under Mamdani it works great since he actually has the interests of the people at heart. Under literally any other democrat, it would be bad.This is not to say communism is good, it goes too far. A 75% socialist-25% capitalist combination would be ideal in my eyes.

Socialism doesn't work and never will because there are too many people that naturally feel entitled to being taken care of without contributing. Socialism/communism is inherently a failed system purely by design and cannot ever work due to those flaws.
