Bitcoin is still not used for what it was intended, a replacement for the dollar that's immune to central bank tactics. Ironically it has mostly turned into a speculative asset, while its many spinoffs have become even more flagrant fraud pump-and-dump speculation schemes that reflect the evil financial market Bitcoin was meant to avoid even more than central bank money printing does. It still only gets used for money how it did originally, when you need to buy something illegal or quasi-illegal.When it comes to money, the past is the future. Anything that's on a computer can just get replicated into infinity. The AIs will crack the Bitcoin encryption and that'll be the end of it. What AIs can't crack is the physical limitations on the amount of gold/silver/etc that's physically available in the world, you can't copy-paste a gold bar. For stability we will need to return to the physical world where limits exist.
