That's one interpretation anyway. I personally suspect it has more to do with overdiagnosis like with the 'tism. Women are crazy everywhere, but in wealthy Western societies, they get diagnosed as such so they can be put on SSRIs or what have you. It's a pharma incentive that only exists in countries where people have money to pay for the pills. Hence the correlation. But that's just like, you know, my opinion man.
