Some scootard in my town was killed when a car was turning and that made me very happy, because I fucking HATE THESE THINGS.They are so fucking cheap, so everyone and their retarded dog is buying them and using them on the road with cars.They are too slow for the road and could cause accidents. Kids drive down the wrong way of the road all of the time. They buy them and have no understanding of the laws of the road.

My main problems with them is their operators have no concept of the law of gross tonnage and will expect a larger vehicle to be able to avoid them when they zip out in front. And then when these death traps are left laying on the ground they are nearly impossible to see until you're right on them.
Not banned police just needs to enforce existing laws.

They fixed the electric scooter problem here by requiring riders to wear helmets (not compatible with broccoli hair).
