To elaborate on the negative externalities a bit, people are going to convenience stores much less now. Previously they were widely popular because they were clean, convenient, had polite staff, and sold virtually anything you needed at a slight mark-up vs a grocery store or something. Now they're expensive, dirty, staffed by rude jeets, and a lot of the time stuff isn't even restocked properly so there are things missing (because the jeets are lazy), or they're restocking in the middle of the busiest part of the day because they're retarded.
