I am most 40 and have no career or source of income. I got a bunch of IT certs and a cyber security degree when I was 34 or so but literally nobody would hire me after applying to thousands of jobs and doing interviews for years. Try to get a position within an org, long shifts but quiet and. I had nights in my twenties where i'd just play pc all night. An mssp would eat you alive due to the sheer volume of false positives. Interviews should be easy like naming the 7 layers of the OSI model, difference between udp or tcp and wtf is cryptography.
