I just went on a vacation road trip and drove the equivalent distance of driving from London to Rome. I was thrilled about it. A European would have an aneurysm at contemplating the prospect. To be fair, I drive a gasoline truck with a big tank. So I get 800 miles to the gallon. Meaning I had to stop once each way for gas.
