Capitalism IS Socialism, except instead of the government measuring your portion of the wealth/production it is a corporation.A simple example of this are restaurants. The restaurants provide a meal with ingredients they purchased at a wholesale rate so they can share the savings with you, their customers. The problem is the corporations inevitably begin to lose their original founders and vision, thus being over run by profit margins and shareholder concerns. The people who made the great companies of America are dead, they aren't what they were any longer. The deeply entrenched corporations in America are now a walking shareholder beholden corpse navigated by leaders and employees who never had contact with the original founders' vision, ethics or concerns because they're dead. Why are products getting more expensive and more shitty? Because these companies are wearing their marketing brand as a mask upon a zombie entity being driven by shareholders and profit margins. America's corporations are shapeshifters, the actual reptilians because while they resemble what they once were and remind you of memories you had with them, they are not that any longer. So capitalism IS socialism and it's a dead corpse walking, masking and drinking the blood of the nation. Stealing through deception, marketing and profit margins. Capitalism requires a Human Resources department because it IS socialism in disguise being run by corporations rather than the government. So these corporations are also gatekeeping employment also behind HR as they socialize their judgement of who should be an employee or not.Capitalism IS socialism, but instead of the government running things, it is corporations.

>>543404888Capitalism in it's original conception was an extremely nationalistic economic model built on a shared, cohesive, and insular populace. It was an economic response to monarchistic command economies centered on the mercantilism of the late middle ages. The seminal treatise on capitalism is literally called "Wealth of Nations". What we have now is not Capitalism, but some conglomeration of oligarchical corporation, socialism, and various economic cartels operating across international finance. We have to kill a lot of people to fix this.
>>543405684Capitalism only works when the workers are highly competent and the society is high trusting. Anyone can look around now (regardless of political leanings) and agree that both of those attributes are eroding rapidly across the nation.

>>543405373Communist countries, and the parties that govern them, have to invest their success in their people's democratic will. Executive boards are expected to invest their profits into improving their goods and MoP, but often don't, and fatten their pays and engage in buybacks ad infinitum. The stock's performance is the sole metric of success-- nothing of territorial consideration, political deliberation, rights assurance, and centrally-planned criteria need be addressed. A million differences of incorporation, sector, and company size exist, and none of them matter to the common trait of directing surplus labor, laissez-faire, supposedly in the nation's interest. An individual may be appeased at a good sold to ignore the exploitation they endured to afford it, and deem it a superior entity to troublesome states. But a collectively conscious society won't balk at a call for solidarity, and take up arms to ensure they direct the spoils of production. You can criticize imperfect bureaucrats for creating disparities all you want; but the difference in the theory that guides each is enough to demonstrate how they legitimize themselves.
>>543404888capitalists and socialists are both historical materialists. They see history thru the flow of capital. Capitalists just want capital to be in a smaller amount of hands while socialists want to distribute it. They both use stupid poor people to accomplish their goal
