The restaurants provide a meal with ingredients they purchased at a wholesale rate so they can share the savings with you, their customers. The problem is the corporations inevitably begin to lose their original founders and vision, thus being over run by profit margins and shareholder concerns.The people who made the great companies of America are dead, they aren't what they were any longer. The deeply entrenched corporations in America are now a walking shareholder beholden corpse navigated by leaders and employees who never had contact with the original founders' vision, ethics or concerns because they're dead.Why are products getting more expensive and more shitty? Because these companies are wearing their marketing brand as a mask upon a zombie entity being driven by shareholders and profit margins.
