Did an interview with a Male Recruiter (lol) whose master's is in social work. He was younger than me but looked like he was 45. Anyway he mentioned the job was supposed to be filled a week ago (multiple positions actually) but unfortunately was not. In addition this is a limited time seasonal job that ends after the contract is up, and urgently hiring.

I am fucking baffled by this hiring process. You would think they'd just fucking hire people, if they needed people. But they need people- and are dragging their feet on hiring them. It's insane bureaucratic feminized bullshit to the max. It's not even a good job, it just pays like 29/hr as a manager position.

I apply for all kinds of jobs just to amuse myself mainly, but also to get access to different operations. When they schedule the second interview, I decline and tell them I don't work with or for indecisive people. The group interviews are the best, some fucking indian wanted me to pretend to be a tiger one time. I've been self employed for 26 years.

Thus companies can more strigently filter the applicants without ending up with nobody. HR benefits from this, so they promote it whilst the business is perhaps under the illusion that they need to filter it down to 1 person.
Also I think it's harder to fire people now so companies are worried about hiring a bad employee
