Why does every electronic now come with AI, Bluetooth, or Internet connectivity? My nespresso milk frother has this, my water boiler, and even my refrigerator. I don’t understand how it benefits me yet it is everywhere. I used 1.3TB in data last month on Comcast, and I don’t even game. I browse the internet, casually watch Netflix or HBO Max, and that’s it. I’m starting to think something is wrong.

Why connect them to your home wifi? It's optional, just don't do itI have a "smart tv" that tried to strongarm me into connecting it to wifi, even the onboard menu is gimped without it. Found a way buried in the options menu to default to HDMI1 when powering on, now works but front LED annoyingly flashes constantly
