Just look at this map. Western Africa has over a dozen useless states like gambia, togo, benin, equatorial guinea. guinea bissau.... etcWhy not just have a United States of West Africa? And also the same for east, south and north. It's not like these countries have any culture or history . Even their official languages are whatever their colonizers left tehm.

>>543435834ignoring the obvious sahara/sahel divide of the north african islamic nations, the other nations roughly correspond to the different rivers and lakes where different ethnic groups would settle around. these ethnic groups would then ally with different foreign powers so you get them also speaking different official languages (english, french, portuguese, spanish) that forms the modern republics. for example the Bemba and Tonga people would settle around the Zambezi river, they ally with Brits so speak English and from there is the nation of Zambia. in Ghana it was mostly the Akan people around the Volta river (Akana - Ghana). They only seem useless if you don't know anything about them.

>>543436639you can see how the national borders were formed by looking at these two maps. South Africa stops at the Limpopo river and that's the name of their northern most province. Namibia is mostly the Kalahari desert. Lesotho speak Sotho, Swaziland speak Swazi/Zulu, they are totally different languages so got their own countries but they speak English officially.
