I'm against strip mining too bro. Also I think most of pine creek gorge is state forest - and a little is state parks (which are free in PA - which is great). There are farms to the east and the biggest pollution threat is all the natural gas activity you see over near Houselander mtn and other areas. I will say they do keep the roads decently maintained but it can't be good for the water quality and there's some fracking too.

Any population center anywhere will have some of this, but there is no doubt that the large number of shitskins and the native white trash that live there are making things worse. PA has a weird white trash culture. They aren't all bad, but they are definitely a certain type of trash that is unique to the area.

Like I said, I don't think they are necessarily bad people, and I never felt like I was in danger from them or anything. They were always quite helpful when I needed it. But I was in the hospital visiting a relative of mine once, and the natives were speaking like drunken retards. They slurred everything and mumbled a lot. But then the one of them imitated the voice from his car's bluetooth system and did so in perfect English, with perfect pronunciation and everything. It was kinda funny, actually. Anyway, so it's not that they aren't capable, it is just their weird culture to be kinda trashy in their own way.It's kinda endearing, 'cause you've got this local culture in some of the mountain towns. But they are definitely the kind to throw beer cans in a river. A lot of the houses are old and rundown too, but not like a nigger/spic ghetto. They still care for them somewhat, they are just old buildings that need some help. I dunno. They just don't offend my like some other kinds of trash. Strange place, strange people. But I think if you actually get out and get around the country, you'll find a lot of those weird little idiosyncrasies. Part of what makes it so fun. Not that I want to make everything and everyone the same, but they could definitely use some improvement to the benefit of their nature.White trash is the least of PA's problems.

But if you veer anywhere close to Pittsburgh or Philly you’ll quickly notice the garbage that lines every street. The abandoned buildings. The non-whites. You can tell how white the twenty-mile radius around you is, just by how much litter is on the ground.Stopping at farms and Amish shops along the journey is a wonderful treat. It’s literally a step back in time. The food is better and cheaper. It’s safe. Towns actually close at night. You can see the stars and the air is crisp. Avoid the shitty turnpike if at all possible; it deprives you of everything good about the journey and is the worst maintained toll road in America.

Lots of Amish have packed up and moved a bit north, into the farm valleys sort of between Altoona/State College/Hazleton.
