Torsten Slok warned yesterday of a novel type of bankrun that will occur in the near future when average consumers gain access to AI agents that are capable of moving their money from low interest 0.1 - 0.4% rate checking and savings accounts to checking and saving accounts at other companies that pay significantly higher interest rates in the 3 - 5%.

The main source of profit for banks is the fact that you put your money in them and they give you jack shit in interest as a reward and then use your deposits as leverage to give out loans to collect more interest (profit). This would effectively drain the banks of their deposits and automatically move those deposits into checking and savings accounts that actually pay a bit of interest.

For example 5% interest on $10,000 is $500 a year compared to the $10 a year you would make from a traditional bank or credit union. And all it would take would be enough people saying "move my money to a checking/savings account that pays higher interest and is still covered under FDIC or NCUA"

Isn't illegal to call for a bank run?
>>

Good

Tell that to yahoo.

Wow holy jeez faggot my god there's no way to currently do that now

>Mike Zaccardi, a chartered financial analyst, says he already keeps his own cash in BOXX, an exchange-traded fund that aims to earn returns close to short-term Treasury bills.
>"Is an Agentic Bank Run Coming? AI assistants are about to auto-sweep cash from 0.1% checking accounts into 5% yields. If everyone adopts them, banks lose their cheap deposit base... risking a systemic crunch," wrote Zaccardi.

Total kike death. Good luck pal
>>
so dont be a bank that pays out low interest?
>>
>>543464185
What if I don’t have 10k
>>
>>543464185
Nigger, people did that already. Why are the AI shills so fucking retarded?
>>
>>543464634
Then you don’t make money and it’s all pointless.

I personally prefer the doomsday theory of the dollar. In this theory, AI hacks the bank accounts of millions of people and liquidates everything they have. The tech bros come up with this great idea to give people the equivalent of their savings lost in crypto currency. The government then uses the opportunity to wipe its debt and move to crypto.
>>
>>543464961
I'd like to see that honestly, sounds funny.
>>
>>543464961
That's pretty smart. What I don't understand about the new "AI bank run" boogeyman is that the AI doesn't actually destroy the physical money, and the numbers on the screen are just numbers on a fucking screen. Most people would have paper bank statements or some way to back up those numbers, and they could just turn the faggot AI off and punch the numbers back in and magically the fake gay money reappears.

Yahoo is above the law. This is Yahoo we're talking about. Are you Yahoo?
>>
>>543465308
Correct, this is yahoo we are talking about and Yahoo was talking about Torsten Slok from Apollo. This is a thread on the news article posted on Yahoo that was about statements from Torsten Slok and other people related to the statements made by Torsten Slok.

The average American would kill their neighbor for $20k
What do you think is gonna happen when financial institutions mysteriously lose whatever money the average American has left? Tellers are going to get hacked to pieces by hand axes and whatever little trust exists towards the US dollar will just collapse overnight.
All of the big stockholders will suddenly see a huge jump in nominative stock value but the hyperinflation will mean that they can't buy shit, and therefore the stock will be sold in a hurry to get out of the market with what you can before what little value remains disappears.
Basically this wouldn't work because it would require the US Government to convince people who don't trust banks to trust banks after those banks rugpulled them, and on top of that destroy the value of stocks. Sure, it could be done, but we would officially be a socialist government at that point and numerous large investors would implode because the mechanisms they use to shift around money would no longer work. They might own property, but they wouldn't own a lot of financial instruments, which were fundamentally based on the dollar. Of course, the government could directly give them the equivalent value in the new currency, but that wouldn't solve the problem. The government is in this case incentivized not just to destroy private individuals investment, but large public corporations. It's the equivalent of telling everyone else to fuck off and deliberately picking winners and losers within your own country. Which is what the government is already doing, but this is "mask off" territory.

This is already preempted this by limiting large movements to 90-day increments in most cases, people could use AI to point them to the best deals but a lot of them are gatekept behind credit unions that increase one's rate over time as a customer. This means you have to earn your rate, you might get an entry-level increase of 0.5-1% but most people aren't going to be breaking down doors for that, only to be told they have to retain an account for 5+ years to see an increase.

Wait are you saying you're yahoo?
>>
>>543465813
Correct, the quotes from my OP are from yahoo.com the quotes are taken from Torsten Slok and several others in regards to a novel (new and previously unseen) form of bank run that has become possible due to AI Agents.

>>543464185
Yes. It is called N.E.S.A.R.A.
Its been what Trump has been doing since 2016.

National Economic Security and Recovery Act.

Anyone who shit talked Trump is going to feel mighty stupid pretty soon.
You all better apologize too, when the time comes.

AI is smart enough to tell goyim about jew money tricks and then goyim dont fall for it and jew has no more money
>>
All the AIs will be like, "You dumb mfer, why are you letting the bank hold your money when crypto exists?"
>>
>>543464185
so uh
what does the ai do here exactly
it does the bank run on behalf of the account owner?
what?
>>
>>543466099
Trump would never do that to America. That's antisemitic. Israel First.
>>
>>543466558
AI is Jewed
>>
>>543465813
Dude, you are talking to a machine.
>>
>>543464292
Yes, but that is to withdraw cash from the bank collectively. Switching banks is not a bank run and never will be. The article retard is trying to make it seem like a bad thing when the mere reality is that you have a profit motive and doing only what you owe yourself.
>>
>>543464242
>((((Steinberg)))) Is concerned that goyim will want a cut of the money companies make from their money
Just another one of the world's problems that can be solved by removing Jews
>>
>>543464961
>Then you don’t make money and it’s all pointless.
Banks create money through the issuance of debt. They also host more services than pure banking.

Also what's funny to note here is Macquarie is a big normal ass bank that offers 5%
As does NAB/Westpac
Yes that's 0.5% less than the leaders but not like they're giving you 1% or less.
>>
>>543464185
... how is this bad? This is just consumers becoming high information and thus strengthening competition
stupid way to frame this
Also, there already are comparision sites
>>543466558
'switching to a higher interest savings account' is hardly a trick
>>
>>543464961
well yeah set the interest too high and its unprofitable
however there will be a spot where you can garner customers whilst still making a profit (assuming you haven't been slouchy in other bank activities like lending or investing)
that's what a market provides you.

first time? us subjects to retartded governents already know not to trust them. evade taxes. keep usd under your mattress. gold. buy assets. burn the fiat money on something real otherwise its just fokin paper
