Great-grandpa on my mom’s side was a Cuban military priest. Not sure when exactly he was born but it had to be somewhere between 1900-1925. Don’t remember exactly what I was told happened but apparently he had a kid with a woman in Colombia and ended up either leaving Cuba or basically leaving my grandma with her mom. With him being a military priest I’m assuming he was active in either conflicts surrounding Cuba at the time or possibly even one of the World Wars.
