>>543482297No, I'm almost 100% German with a tad Polish in my distant ancestry. My ex-girlfriend was Romanian and we split in good terms so I'm still kinda infatuated with the culture. Though I inquire orthodoxy for a different reason and the parish I visit is Antiochian. I wanted to go to a Romanian parish but there is none where I live as far as I know.

I'm from the part of the country which used to have many Germans WW2, it wasn't uncommon in towns and villages to have Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant churches standing together because a bunch of different ethnicities lived and still live there, Serbs, Hungarians, Slovaks, Germans.. Temeswar was like that too.
