It wasn't a delivery job. It's a military job, and the deception is that they tell them that they won't go to the frontline.They sign military papers for the military.They play dumb afterwards so their embassies rescue them from their dumb decision.

Probably there are some who don't, and that's going to lead to various forms of hardship before being kicked out of Russia. One problem is how to get back home without any money.
