For the first time since the Great Depression, more people are leaving America than moving in, mostly in search of affordable housing.Have you considered leaving the US in search of a nicer place to live?https://www.wsj.com/podcasts/the-journal/americans-are-leaving-the-us-in-record-numbers/f2ae7db5-db04-4394-84db-7536e5b681ec
they're trying to get away from browns, coastal cities are unaffordable now
>>5434876261 bath. That's brutal
>>543487912>hmmm, could it be that housing is unaffordable because I take for granted features that previous generations regarded as unrealistic luxuries?>no, it's the market that is wrong
>>543487626It's called the nigger-avoidance taxYou either pay premium for a house in a nice neighborhood or you pay with a 2 hour commute to work. Either way you have to pay to avoid them
>>543487760>coastal cities are unaffordable nowIn America. This home with great ocean views in Japan costs about $22,000 USDhttps://www.athome.co.jp/kodate/6991550511/
>>543487626Housing is merely a form of currency now and isn't actually supposed to be lived in.
>>543487626>We met people who are buying and selling real estate in Texas out of Barcelona. We met someone who runs a trailer park in Florida out of Madrid, people running investment firms out of Berlin. So, these are all people who should be lamppost ornaments.
>>543487912>>543488044I think this is largely due to American design failure. In American homes, the toilet is located in the bath. That doesn't really make any sense. Why would you want stink in the place where you get clean? But more importantly, if someone wants to take a relaxing hot bath, they inconvenience anyone who may need to use the toilet.See, this is what a Japanese bath looks like. Same home listing. Much more asthetic and just a better design too.
>>543487626>For the first time since the Great Depression, more people are leaving America than moving in, mostly in search of affordable housing.>Have you considered leaving the US in search of a nicer place to live?Yes. I am Indian and i am moving home to Mumbai to be happy. It is unsafe here in the US.
>>543488194>Either way you have to pay to avoid themThat is racist, you bigot. Access to whites is a human right.
>>543489696>This home with great ocean views in Japan costs about $22,000 USDno. 350,000,000 Japanese Yen equals2,223,097.45 United States Dollar
>>543487626Reminder that "white flight" kills the white race. Cede not one ounce of clay to non-white hordes.
>>5434903623.5 million Japanese yen anon, not 350 million Japanese yen.
>>543490362>350,000,000 Japanese Yen3.1 million yen = 19.6k USD
>>543489696>This home with great ocean views in Japan costs about $22,000 USD...and you can live in it six months per year, three months at a time - with no guarantee you can ever return.Owning it doesn't mean you're allowed in the country to live in it.A lot of those houses can't be rebuilt - legally - due to the type of road they're on. Emptying a house of junk can cost thousands dollars due to Japanese regulations. Older houses are not built to code for earthquakes. That said, Japan has a civilized, high-IQ functioning society, and they have surprisingly good free speech laws. If you can make it work it's a great option - but you definitely want to research this thoroughly, for your specific case, and thoroughly investigate the property (even though Japanese often don't agree to pre-sales inspections).
>>543490526I think he just got confused by the price on the listing350万円 means 350 10000 yen notes, the largest denomination of Japanese currency. Paying in cash confuses the American.
>>543487626>mostly in search of affordable housing. The only reason anyone would leave the USA is to look for a wife that still acts like a woman. Probably from SEA.
>>543490622No need for me to research. I have my house in Japan already. I'm just ahead of the curve apparently.
>>543490840how's your visa situation? I'd probably own a place there already if I didn't have to pack up Fluffy for a plane ride multiple times per year.
>>543490464>3.5 million Japanese yen anon, not 350 million Japanese yen.I'm just using translate, but it may be wrong.
>>543487626>more people are leaving America than moving inbecause we're starting to kick out all the illegal browns.
>>543490914If you work remote, you can live there 6 months a year with no language proficiency requirement.https://www.mofa.go.jp/ca/fna/pagewe_000001_00046.htmlThen once you have a qt3.14 Japanese waifu, you can just live there as long as you want.
>>543491017>because we're starting to kick out all the illegal browns.Yesss.
>>543491014Yeah, translate is busted there anon.
>>543491257I'd take the last place economy in the entire fucking world if it meant I don't have to live around spics anymore.
>>543489880The new trend in the luxury housing market in the US is his and hers toilets. You have the master suite (whoops, the "primary suite") with two small rooms to the side, each with a toilet. The two small rooms are both the size of a 1980s half bath. These are the types of items that people want when they complain that a "starter home" costs $800,000.
>>543491234not too shabbyi still need an indefinite visa, thoughand i'm not getting a fucking job to live anywherebut maybe i'll get a place in SEA too and live 50-50though that still leaves the Fluffy problemjust thinking out loud
>>543491388>that still leaves the Fluffy problemYep, rabies free Japan. I know all about it. The first time you bring Fluffy, it's going to take about 8 months for you to get all the shots and paperwork done. After that, just stay up to date and it's not too bad.
>>543490914If you move to japan without fitting into a highly respectable profession through the local pathways that they have available while you're in the right age range, you're going to be completely fucked long term. You won't be able to live your live there as an english teacher or some kind of low skill gaijin worker for long because the government will tighten visa restrictions further by requiring more paperwork and proof of genuine skill the more people keep moving in.
>>543487626There's nothing affordable about a 140 year old house
>>543491380I just can't imagine wealthy people being so incontinent that they need two toilets attached directly to the bedroom. But I guess that's America now.
>>543492242you'd be surprised by the otherwise unthinkable conveniences that become thinkable when you have infinite dollars
>>543491842i'm not respectable but i wouldn't need a job.business manager might be possible if there were hands-off turn-key businesses available that would at least break even>the government will tighten visa restrictions furtherthis is the big risk, seems like japan is progressively tightening the ratchet over time
