>>543493530The UK has become a very strange place to live. There are that many taxes, permits, policies, laws, regulations. Life is an endless cycle of tax, rules, and enforcement. People are very self centred, angry, bitter and petty. People don't like others do well, people are encouraged to fuck each other over. Two tier enforcement, they let certain demographics get away with murder, but go incredibly hard on others. Any sort of tax, is taken unbelievably seriously.Fishing rights and the rod license is just one example. Kids under 13 don't need a rod license from what I understand. So I assume they were fishing somewhere without a water license. So someone that owns that water, will have snitched them. But this is the thing with the UK, why is everything owned and fenced off. Are people just meant to live on massive housing estates, all their lives, doing nothing. There are literal kids on my estate with riding about with guns and machetes. Hiding them in places to use in future. But doing something about that is too much hard work isnt it. Detaining a couple of kids for fishing on a privately owned water is an easy target.This country makes me sick
