I had hip surgery two years ago and I wouldn't wish that recovery on my worst enemy. The post surgery pain whenever I moved was agonizing and I had to spend time building my leg muscles back up before relearning how to walk once I had recovered enough to put weight on it.I cannot fathom how poor someone's quality of life will become not only once they cut their pelvis in half, but once they forcibly change the angles of all the muscles and bones in the entire lower half of their body.
