When is the housing market supposed to crash so young people can afford homes?
>>
>>543504701
The rates only affect buyers, owners have 2-3% interest rates or in the case of many boomers don't even have a mortgage.
And construction of new houses doesn't meet demand, so demand remains greater than supply.
>>
>When is the housing market supposed to crash so young people can afford homes?
Never lol
>>
Infinite Indian immigrating is the new policy. Its never coming down
>>
>>543504878
>owners have 2-3% interest
Meaning they can't move because they can't afford to buy a home in another area. Meaning when they lose their job they're fucked. Also can't refinance.
>>
>>543504701
Why don't young people just get 20 people together to buy one?
>>
>>543504878
Thanks Albutt Einstein.
>>
>>543505352
They can just rent the house out. That doesn't mean they can buy a new one though. "I can just rent it out and buy another one" is what I always hear and it might be cope
>>
>>543505365
There's a lot of empty properties that boomers bag holding they can just get 20 people and squat in them.
>>
The entire western world will collapse before boomers suffer such a blow to their vacation funds.
>>
>>543505603
>they can rent it out
In the place with no jobs they can't unless it's section 8 niggers. Their only hope is government prints infinite money to keep this circus they call economy going.
>>
>>543504701
>>543504975
Never. Also, if you know anything about anything, the BANK takes the house. The house goes up for AUCTION. AUCTIONS do NOT take a mortgages, you need fucking cash.

So what will happen is:

>$300K house
>Well, bank takes it and puts it up for auction
>The auction starts and goes to $150K

What young person has $150K just laying around to buy a house in full?? And if they had $150K just laying around for a house, why the hell didn't they buy a house before and have an ultra cheap mortgage?

So it will just be auctioned off, then kikes and realty companies will turn them into rental properties
>>
>>543505352
Cash will be king. Not only do higher rates drive up the total cost to the buyer, but banks start getting pickier about who they approve and for how much. A lot of people look at the price of homes on a graph and think people were crazy for not buying at the dips, but the banks reject most people at that time so that cash buyers can unload their cache of cash.
>>
>>543505794
>who has $150k
Me. Oh, what YOUNG person. I dunno. I'm 43 and I'd like to buy a house

It only stops going up when you stop importing millions of shitskins. Nothing else can happen. Supply and demand. You mulitply demand then wonder why it's more expensive. No shit. And taxes go up because they are housed at your expense, which also makes the government compete with you for buying housing which drives up property tax, but only for you. NGO's providing immigrant housing don't have to pay for shit.

You can stop this cycle at any time, but a brown person that wants your free stuff might be sad.

Also stop importing millions of Indians, even if they aren't on welfare it still blows up housing demand and lowers demand for workers and therefore wages. This is not hard to understand. Just tell the infinite beggars and scabs to fuck off.

A year's wage is a decent standard for housing prices.
Make them match.

>>
>>543506665
In reality, there's actually a surplus of homes, even considering "muh illegals". It's just that the kikes in charge all run a cartel with rent prices.
>>
>>543506898
Dangerously antisemitic, but true. Even for apartments, there is a glut of mid-high end, but basically fuck-all for anything lower. It's insane how bad it is.
>>
>>543506953
I've heard that landlords collaborate to keep prices the same. There is no "competition", because even lowering rent $50/month will have a thousand more saps begging for the apartment.
>>
A few things I'm wondering, how does insurance and property taxes factor in? I'm totally predicting a ton of foreclosures, the media will likely try to cover it up but it's coming. Even when the banks take the home back it's just going to sit there falling apart. I think we're going to see situations like detroit back in the day all over the USA soon. Those homes, the taxes just pile up but the insurance, that's the killer. A lot of companies no longer issue policies in some states, factor in how a lot of folks just let their homes fall apart thinking they could pawn it off on the next guy and it makes me wonder how banks will handle all the depreciating assets they're about to have on their hands.

A few more, infastructure, hospitals and schools. Those things are the main reasons why people buy homes besides a place to live. Educated people with transferable skills tend not to live in areas without good services so that means a lot of areas with high levels of foreclosures are going to see horribly depressed economies that politicians gaslight about but anyone with half a brain can see right through the BS.
>>
>>543507637
As explained. Joe Blow with the expensive mortgage will lose his job. He will lose his house. The bank will have and put it up for cash-only auction. Realty companies and landlords with the cash will buy them up and put them out to be rented. In our modern economy, there is no real supply and demand. They all have a cartel. You need a place to live and an address to live at much more than they need your goybucks.
>>
>>543504701
Young people as in zoomers? Fuck them. Worthless generation.
>>
>>543508296
Actually, no not as explained, you totally missed out on the points I was getting at, property taxes and insurance followed by services.

Like I said, educated people with transferable skills have options, they don't have to put up with this (and won't), they will leave just like folks did after the USSR collapsed and Nazi Germany before that (The brain drain...)

Capitalism swings both ways, the cartel situation the USA has isn't the rest of the world, they weren't as foolish as people here were. That being said, here's a question for you, what happens when the banks and the "cartels" as you put it end up with a ton of squaters, criminals setting fire to shit and society in general saying fuck it? Police may respond but they're already overworked, same with the fire department. BTW, this ties into what I asked about originally, taxes. Need taxes to fund all of that, jails need em too. Sure, can get some rich equity firm in there but those guys are purely extractive, they just take take take and contribute nothing of value to the community. Look at Walmart, they positioned themselves decades ago as a part of the community, now they're just another soulless corp draining the husk of what was once a great nation.

So, now what?
>>
>>543507637
Buy to rent like other anon said. States wouldnt care btw. Many states, counties and cities have property tax laws capped at a certain increase per year. A 400k house with same value as the next door property could be thousands more per year on property taxes with the only difference being one house was bought in 1990 and the other in 2025. All of this exist to benefit the rich BTW because we refuse to increase tax on higher brackets as we did in the past and refuse to end loopholes.
>>
Never. Jews bought up all the homes and rent them to goyim. Remember you will own nothing and be happy
>>
>>543504878
"Dosent meet demand" there are thousands of empty homes around me its just noone can afford them. Minimum rent is $1500 with a $1000 deposit and they want first and last. Just renting a house is like putting a down payment. Funny how everyone just forgot about the AI pricing scandal. AI caused this issue.
>>
>>543508786
Still have the problem of the home being overvalued, been like that since 2009. If you really want an idea of what a home is really worth, check out insurance actuaries. The repairs a home needs, neighborhood, hospitals, infrastructure etc. That's what determines the real value of a neighborhood. Also, you still have the biggie that people do everything they can to ignore but can't anymore, property insurance. A lot of companies no longer issue policies in a lot of states with climate change and boomers (and millennials now...) delaying maintenance thinking this ponzi scheme would last forever.

I'm not cheering for any of this, people will gaslight themselves for the rest of their lives but economics says otherwise. Something no one wants to hear, a lot of the USA is overvalued. When you have an area with educated people, good schools, hospitals and infrastructure that attracts people for many reasons, chief among them, stability. Here's a question a lot of folks should be asking themselves, considering how bad things already are and are about to get thanks to the bond market, why should anyone with skills stick around? The USA has been an awful place to raise kids for a while now, the vile culture has managed to infect everything. This society cheers when people get evicted and die on the streets, now we're seeing it with evictions and yep, same thing. Why would any educated, hard working person with a family and a future want to live in a society like that? Good people and good societies create good, valuable suburbs, communities and countries. Scammers, housing cartels, shitty governments and people create the conditions we're now seeing. Thing is, once those conditions are in place, good luck getting rid of them,
>>
>>543508735
>Like I said, educated people with transferable skills have options

Except they don't and Trump is quickly fucking up moving to another country. For example, Brazil used to have an easy visa for Americans to visit, now they require $2K because Trump has insulted the fuck out of Brazil.

I'm trying to get out (unironically), and I only work part-time living with parents. Most people actually don't have the option that I have because I can actually marry into residency in another country. They on the other hand, will have to rely on income or skills. But one has to realize that the opinion that Americans are all rich is quickly coming to an end and other countries will increase their immigration requirements.

>you put it end up with a ton of squaters, criminals setting fire to shit and society in general saying fuck it?

That's what the Flock cameras are for. That's what credit scores and background checks are for. YOU need to have a job, have money to keep existing. They will gatekeep any trouble makers.

Actually, it's piss easy to leave, you just have to have a worthwhile skill. If you're in healthcare or engineering it's still quite easy to leave. This is why parents back in the day emphasized the trades, end of the day you have a marketable skill. Thing is, with that you go to school and get something worth while, engineering compliments the trades nicely. Same with healthcare, be an EMT/CNA and work your way up to RN, doctor etc.

Uhh, flock cameras still need cops to respond, there's that lack of tax dollars I mentioned once again coming back to fuck people. Also, in bad times like that? When cops do show up people suddenly "know nothing". Right now people are very very pissed off and bitter, for good reason. Next problem in an area like that, law enforcement. Being a policeman is dangerous, even if you're former military (which many LEOs are) when you're trying to arrest some scumbag for whatever and he/she is in a hostile neighborhood, its dangerous. Increasingly cops get called to evictions that end in murder suicide, they don't pay cops enough for that risk so it's just making recruiting that much harder. Not every city is like Chiraq/LA, offering huge salaries for the risk. Also a job? Uhh dude, people can and will just turn to crime. Again, enforcement for that takes taxes.

BTW just noticed you mentioned Brazil, lol good Lord that is exactly what the USA is about to see on a huge scale, favelas all over. Don't know if you have heritage from Brazil or Latin America but if you do, you have to know exactly what I'm talking about. People here have no idea what a treasure functioning infrastructure is. Once that's gone and the educated people who can maintain it get tired of sticking around, that's that it's gone and likely never comes back. It becomes haves and have nots with a real world twist, the rich? Really they're just upper class. The money they have to pay for a secure home, security guards, gates etc.

PA is taxed to shit. Also the only good BBQ is from the fucking Amish in Lancaster. WV is just meh too many drug addicts, too many food deserts. I guess buying a home is impossible then. I started to save man, but shit got really expensive where I'm at. And I have people tell me that I'm lucky for being out of debt.
>>
The structural system change since 08 has been to make houses unaffordable. It isnt a glitch but a feature. There will never be a crash thats significant enough to make it affordable for young people. Theyre competing with investors, dink white collars and an ever expanding elderly population.
>>
>>543509525
> If you're in healthcare or engineering it's still quite easy to leave.

Lol. Healthcare can be found domestically in their countries unless you're some world re-known neurosurgeon. Engineering too. The only people that get work in other countries is the uppity ups of the senior engineers.

>Uhh, flock cameras still need cops to respond, there's that lack of tax dollars I mentioned once again coming back to fuck people

Nigger, crime is not that bad. It's a scam by Republicans to say "see, this is why muh illegals are bad. This is why muh poor baby corporations raise prices". Cops sit on their asses mainly, unless they work in a nigger ghetto.

>favelas all over

I fucking wish. It's the exact opposite in reality. There will be no "bleeding through the cracks, informalities". Everything is/will be formalized with surveillance and regulations. Favelas are essentially poor people that just commandeered land and built lives there. You do not have that option in the US. You can fuck off to the middle of a National Forest, and the US government will eventually find you and kick your ass off.

>Latin America but if you do, you have to know exactly what I'm talking about.

My girlfriend's from Latin America. I literally love it there despite "muh infrastructure" not being as good. A 1 bedroom apartment is only half of a minimum wage worker's salary. You can literally survive being a cashier there. The US, hell fucking no

Yes healthcare can be found but it's nothing like it used to be in the USA. Really, in the 90s and 2000s the USA had the best healthcare in the world, the surgeries and diseases we could cure, it was truly a golden age. A lot of countries have huge issues with staffing. It takes time and money to make it through med school and a lot of people fail, nursing school is equally grueling. Look this up, Canada is recuritng a ton of US nurses, it's gotten that bad here. Same with the UK, Australia and a lot of the world, they need nurses and doctors, badly. Here's the key, healthcare work is stressful and dangerous, it's why a lot of nurses and ENTs burn out, it sucks. Thing is, that's what gives the profession mobility. The Philippines exports a lot of things to the first world, among them nurses, a lot of em are really good nurses too.

Actually, it is. Crime has been bad for a long time and no I'm not picking on illegals or any one else, it's structural. A lot of crime goes unreported on purpose, that shit affects property values which leads to higher insurance etc. Really if you want to blame anyone, I'd focus on Wallstreet and lazy people, two things that really can't be fixed.

Mmmn, nope, it absolutely will not. Flock cameras take money and infrastructure, the USA is so damn big with varying economic conditions everywhere. Know where you will see flock cameras? The rich states that have things of value, the places people with skills still move to if they can. They absolutely will be dystopian hell holes.

I have nothing but admiration and respect for my Latin American buddies, they value family and know how to live. I've seen tough times but never even in my lowest moments have I ever wished the evil people here do on each other, it's allowed this vile culture to just fester and ruin this once great country, it's sad. That sickness is what's going to cause crime and murder of Biblical proportions to explode.

A lot of it is foreign capital flight. Rich people from other "authoritarian" nations are often searching for any way to protect their wealth from any "reforms" their government might do. They're willing to do a lot of things at a loss if they think at least they'll get to keep some of it because private property is sacred here (for those who have any, anyway).
I'm not completely unsympathetic to that, but this doesn't have to be our problem. We have our own problems thank you very much.
Essentially western nations have decided that the ability to extract rent from their own people is a financial product that you can export to the world.
So if no one can afford the homes anymore, one way to keep the whole system going longer is to encourage international capital flight.
A lot of capital is coming back from the gulf region right now allegedly. Might help keep things going for a while longer.

There was a guy that destroyed a flock camera in West Virginia. They're everywhere and Federal Reserve kikes like Thiel have endless amounts of money for their Cyberpunk hellscape.

>that shit affects property values

If it did, property values would drop and consequently it would be easier to buy a house...

"Crime is up" is a scam. It's just a boogeyman by kike corporations to say "See, you pieces of shit spoiled consumers, this is why we raise our prices and lock everything up and make our employees' lives a living hell."

Yes Thiel has infinite money but he's not too smart I think, for one he's trying to buy his way into I think Argentina and/or another S.American country. Hezbolah kidnaps rich people like him all the time. Also back to what I said already, enforcement costs money. When you have a hostile populace that gets very expensive fast, even a billionare would go broke funding the problemns a lot of cities have.

Actually, property values are dropping in places for the reasons I've stated, taxes and insurance. Here's the thing, services.

Eh, reddit is nice for my interests but for me it's a hobby board, I don't bother with US politics, it's irritating and exhausting. I do go to futaba and other non English sites. Really, if there's anything I'm a huge fan of, it's economics. That and financial modeling, it's fun! That's why with the USA I have the fuck around and find out attitude. This country has too many entitled idiots who have no idea how good they've had it, that's all about to change. I don't argue with people, I state/declare my position, dialogue when I can and when I find the person I'm talking to is an asshole/an idiot I disengage and move on. Life is so much easier when you think in terms of economics, most great civilizations do.

>Cantillon effect
I agree. Really, it's the rich causing the problems, it always is. This goes back to what I said about people learning valuable skills back in the day before going to college (if they did...)
People here never consider what their grandparents/great grandparents fled from the Old World, Germany as a republic was a hard thing to make happen, most republics are. One thing that happens when the rich fuck with the money supply, employment becomes iffy. In Prussia two of the most common professions the poor tried to get into, the military and clergy, that was about it. Only way you could survive the financial fuckery, knowing a valuable skill. Yeah the immigrants here got fucked but it was a million times better than what they had to deal with in the Old World at the time, one expensive war after the other leading up to WWI and WWII. It's a mindset, no matter what you are 100% responsible for yourself, if you want to eat learn a good skill then protect it with your life. It fucking sucks what the rich have done to this country but, there is nothing we can do about it except survive and move on best we can. Those who can't will die, it's as simple as it is grim.

They get to pillage what the owners had at one time and that's taht, these ghouls make out like bandits.

With how jewed this country is I'm surprised the last one isn't a thing for jews-only here. They already get those (gov subsidized ?) interest-free loans from banks just for claiming they're jews. They add like 10% to the principle iirc. Must be able to pay that off so much quicker with 0% going to interest.

Even looming total collapse of all systems won't stop their loxism, but the plan, if there is one, is probably to make east asians compete and worry about job security or else they have to go live near the poojeet or baboon slums.

Nothing will ever crash
We've past a point in US history where we are literally too big to fail
Things may appear to be getting worse but actually everything is improving and will continue on
The USA has cheat codes, it can move any goal post wherever it wants.
Too big to fail, man, too big to fail. We win.

Agree 100%. I won't blame anyone else for this nor say I had no hand in this but I had a shit life growing up and still tried to do what was right. I was the one who got screwed by shit roommates and family, despite all that I never once did to anyone what was done to me. It sickens me how people here just cheer on the booming homeless population, no one deserves that. One long term goal I have is when it's time for me to die I can go to the next world knowing I wasn't a selfish piece of shit. I'd rather have a short moral, ethical life than a long evil one. Know I'm in the minority but that is how I try to live every day, hard as it is.
God bless you Canada anon, may He have mercy on us all.

I'm heavily invested in housing.
Numbers going up is good for me.
I wish they went to the moon.

We got me, my wife, my mom, my brother, his girlfriend living in a 3 bedroom older 1 story home my parents paid off almost 10 years ago. We all help with bills, buying groceries. I work a 3 night a week job doing security over the weekend, my brother works the same shift at another facility for the same security company. none of the girls work, mom's retired & gets social security, my dad's pension since he passed. We'll probably be living like this for the rest of our lives. You basically just have to adapt as times change.
>>
>>543505365
you honestly think a single male is going to be allowed to room in with a bunch of girls?
>>
>>543504701
For the thousand time, to fix the housing: ban usury, and make housing a depreciated asset.
Only then you can buy a house, no way otherwise unless you are ok with 50y mortgage and still don't own at the end with property taxes
>>
>>543515432
That doesn't sound too bad, at least you have family.

We had mexicans in our apartment complex and a bunch of cops showed up and I think immigration. They are clearing the place up now and they have someone coming in Oct. 1st.
>>
I have an entry level job and I only get 47k a year take home and I made a financial plan 4 years ago to buy a house in full and I just closed a couple of months ago.
Honestly, it's not even that hard to save a buy a house.
I just think most "people" want one immediately instead of working towards one.

So average people need it to be cheap and plentiful, and all they are is average like a dime a dozen. Pretty sure the world has moved on from completely and in every way kissing average ass. Every system is to aid average. Literally worse than those on generational welfare because at least they are survivalists. Average people are just boring and needy and whiny and extremely selfish, narcissistic really because they bring nothing but middle of the road but expect everything to revolve around them and be comfy and nice but affordable to them.
>>
>>543515807
$47K for 4 years without taxes is $188K.

No fucking way you saved enough to buy a house in full unless you live in a shithole in West Virginia and live with parents. But you wouldn't even be getting an entry level job there for $47K either.

>>543515432
Doesn't sound bad at fucking all, especially since you work only 3 nights a week.

>>543504878
Yes and so nobody is ever going to buy their home and they can never leave, making housing for living in and not for investment again
>>
>>543504878
>can't move for a new job
>can't move for better education
This is why you don't let land owning white collar criminals into government, because they will never allow policies to pass that hurt their wealth derived from "owning" stuff.
We see this at the local level, state politicians who own vacation homes passing laws banning towns from limiting vacation rentals.
Quite hilarious shit. Loads of small towns now have collapsed into tourist towns with workers commuting in like slaves because there's nowhere to live, because these rich asshole fucks bought all the homes instead of building new structures.
We need a complete reset in America, starting with executing a million millionaires, seizing their wealth, and getting housing back to levels that match the population.

I'm fucking 40 and I can't afford a home. The average price of a single family home in my city has doubled over the last eight years and so has the average rent of an apartment.

Who the fuck can afford to put 20% down on a $350K house?
>>
>>543505352
>Meaning when they lose their job they're fucked.
Nope, this is incorrect.
Their rates are so low that the interest from government bonds covers their mortgage.
The Government has a higher interest rate than Boomers do.

>>543504878
Owners that bought in 2020 have that. If you bought in the last few years it's 5-7%.
>>

Kek I just bought a house for 40k cash in a us metro of over a million people. Selling it for $160k next month. Get rekt faggots whom cannot do construction work kek.

When the immigrants stop coming and new homes can catch up with demand without turning every last inch of space into urban hoa hell.
Trump hasn't even deported 20% of the illegals that arrived just in the 4 years of Biden.
Takes a long time to undo Democrat messes.

Banks normally add fees for each individual living in the house.

Naturally you could just lie to the bank but only brown people do that.

Well major corporations like blackrock kept buying homes for the purpose of appreciating value and no one was allowed to live in them. I think Congress is trying to stop that but the damage has been done

>When is the housing market supposed to crash so young people can afford homes?

When both parties unjew themselves and collectively decide that continually flooding America with brown mudpeople is actually a bad thing. So basically never.
