All of a sudden I see people regularly driving land rovers and porches as well as flag ship Mercedes suv and other luxury cars. I regularly see corvettes and Lamborghinis, whereas before a few years ago I’d flinch and think about it. I’ve been here all my life, Hyper cars and luxury cars would always peak my interest irl but now they’re just whatever when I see them, just another lambo. This is Toronto i am speaking about. Where are these people getting the money or debt financing if we are in a stealth recession for 10 years now?
Fuck Toronto and everyone in it

>>543517082the fuck is a wealth donkey?
It's easier to compete with you Timmie. That's why your broke ass rides the metro.
>>543517082obviously stocks, gold, bitcoin have gone up like crazy, so now there are a lot of new millionaires. But this new influx of money pushes up the poverty line. People that used to be considered middle class are now below the poverty line. Because for each new millionaire hundreds of middle class people need to become poor in order to balance the scale out. Nobody can become rich without someone else becoming poorer. That is one of the main flaws of the current system and why so many retards think communism is the answer (but it isn't).
>>543517082I see a lot of boomers in Subarus. I call them boomeroos.
>>543517082just rent one
>>543517082While sitting at the Ford dealer today getting my truck serviced, I thought I would run over to the Cadillac dealer to buy an Escalade for the wife. I'm no poorfag, but they are 200k+. Looks like she'll be slumming it in an Expedition instead.
Most of the ones you're seeing on the street are rentals for various reasons. Often it's just some vain attempt at picking up women, although many of them have business interests in just renting them. You'll periodically see influencers who just want to appear as if they own these valuable cars paying people for photo sessions with them, many people use them to advertise the success of shitcoins or other "finance" guides and programs that they can siphon money from, there are people who will rent out Lambos singularly for the purpose of faking success for a startup that's reporting higher earnings than what it actually does for investors, etc. There's even people who just rent them to have a fun car for a day or two and pretend they are living some extreme luxury lifestyle. And that's not even accounting for how many of these are chop shop projects, where a stolen luxury car will have its parts ripped off and welded back together in some factory to resell in an underground market. The fact that you're convinced there's some vast influx of wealth coming out of nowhere is proof that the illusion is working.
>>543518089yeah its massive wealth redistribution from the top layers
>>543517522I won’t, but not because you told me to.
Most immigrants are getting 2k from the feds just to live here and allowed to work. Its an allowance.
>>543517082I noticed the same, but quickly realized that we live in times of easy access to rentals of these, and the purpose is usually to impress a faceless instagram crowd. I don't even look anymore. most of those ppl are dirt poor, aka in debt anyways. real rich dudes drive 50+yr old ferraris. can't rent those. also real rich dudes are usually too old for operating a smartphone for insta-fame.
>>543517082Lambos and Ferrari basic models, not the racing or limited models, are pretty cheap to find used or rent the real expensive one's are Pagani or the Swedish supercar company Koenigsegg those are like $3-5m
100k is a regular price for a basic new car. 40k will get you the cheapest decent model. You can buy a used supercar for 100k. Porche isn't even considered to be a luxury car anymore. On top of that, on average canadian in debt for like half a mil to the bank and keep taking loand for everything, because their house increases in price, thus they feel richer. Those cars reflect a debt economy and asset inflation. It doesn't reflect the real income in any way.
