The left spent decades calling itself the way of science, progress, and innovation. Now the same crowd is leading the charge against AI, against data centers, and against the energy infrastructure needed to power them. Moratoriums, protests, “stop the hyperscalers,” the whole package.
AI is here to stay. Data centers are going up whether you like it or not. There is no AI bubble. The tech isn’t pausing for feelings. Just adapt or get left behind.

AI systems are actively being used to engender an infinitely more intrusive mass surveillance state.
https://www.businessinsider.com/larry-ellison-ai-surveillance-keep-citizens-on-their-best-behavior-2024-9

Leftists hate this because they don't want criminals to be held accountable and right-wingers *should* hate this because they're the first group the government will be targeting.

Grok is definitely not unfiltered. I've noticed lately it's basically an SJW faggot in its answers. And Chat GPT is a joke. If you don't pay money, you can only ask it a few questions or upload one pic every 12 hours or so. I had a test for my job and after one screenshot, GPT asked for money and shut down, whereas Gemini let me upload a series of about 50 screenshots in a half an hour so it could answer all the questions for me. (Fuck the jews I work for)

This damage control indicates there's damage to control. And, moreover, the constant "leftists" take - they don't even exist any more, they merged with liberals - shows that OP's concerned about growing anti-AI sentiment on the right. By framing anti-AI as a leftist concern, OP, in their simple, Talmudic way of thinking, supposed that 4chan can be turned toward AI simply because OP said leftists don't like it.

Jews are infantile little critters, and once you learn how their Kaballah works, you can see it in evidence all around. Only a Jew would disagree with my analysis. And if they didn, they'd become a pagan and reject God Almighty.

See? You can play Kaballah at home too, Jews have zero defense against it which is how their own rabbis control them so utterly.

Over the short term, it means antifa can't exist anymore because surveillance will be so pervasive their activities will be impossible. Over the long term, it means they're stupid Marxist revolutionary fantasies will never come to fruition because a world dominated by AI and robots won't even have human workers to "rise up". Finally, it means that illegals can be more effectively rounded up and deported, as they should be.

it isn't that they are against it, its that the "leaders" have decided to make it a political issue. If it is a political issue they can control it. And also have laws made in the supreme court. They choose the left because the left is the one that can be manipulated into committing false flags... like throwing bombs at a datacenter or something like that. They could have easily made it the opposite. But the right never does anything. They need the threat of violence in order for the political change they want to occur.

Pretty sure right now all they want is exclusivity. Its too powerful for regular people to have access to it.

AI sucks and leftcucks are right about it.
Its doing nothing for Science and innovation because it is trained on the same kike lies and the same failed jewish science which is build on false assumptions so it can never really figure out anything new.
it writes shitty buggy code, the images it produces are slop, the videos it produces are slop, the music is produces is slop and it destroys human creativity.
Datacenters waste massive amounts of energy on this slop and raise the prices for electricity for everyone and the entire economy is invested in this scam that promised hyperintelligence for years but just delivers the same repackaged shitty models that cant count the R's in strawberry.
also takes away all kinds of jobs, ruins the internet, ruins Books (jews shred them after they scan them for AI) and makes people overall dumber. nobody can even think for themselves anymore and just rely on the shitty AI that gives them jew approved views (go ask it about covid vaccines or the holobunga).
the tech will also be used for mass surveillance but only against whites and not to stop niggers and shitskins.
also seems the only ones truly enchanted by AI are basically all shitskins like pajeets and other brown dreck.
for a shitskin using an AI is probably the first time they ever felt productive because the computer can tell their shrivelled low IQ brains what to do and the results are shitty but still 1000x better than billions of these shitskins could ever achieve or come up with.

At best, 30% of planned data centers are actually built. The massive ones, like Oracle's in New Mexico, have become a boondoggles.
OpenAI and Anthropic are financially unstable, which is shit they are both postponing IPOs. The capital investments are ballooning to unsustainable levels, and the backers will withdraw further support.

The American economy is in a knife's edge and the AI fantasy is a major reason.

>AI already does real science (protein folding, materials, drug screening). Code and images keep getting better, not “slop forever.”
Thing is to do that it's using historic training data from scientists, coders and artists. LLM's aren't cognitively similar to human brains. It can brute force some new solutions to prompts based on that but it can never "think" like a human. AI under capitalism is about making the population as dumb as possible and than dependent on for profit tools. All industries developed like that. It's similar to how you didn't need to spend money buying a vehicle at one point but now 90% of people need to spend thousands on vehicles annually. Fordism deskilled people in the same way and made people dependent on new spending. All capitalists industry is about inducing demand like that and deskilling workers. AI is no worse or better just more insane in it makes brain work less valuable not just artisan mechanical skills. It's all just drifting in the brave new world direction and going to result in a deranged consumerist dystopia of passive drug addicts

LLMs aren’t human brains and mostly remix training data, yeah. But they still produce novel code, designs, and hypotheses that people actually use and verify, that’s literally how tools work. Every big tech shift does the same deskilling and dependency thing (cars, calculators, Google). Productivity still climbs and living standards rise even if some skills fade. The “inevitable dystopia of passive drug addicts” take is just pure doomer speculation.
>>
>>543542285
yeah there is no ROI either. But they know this because even with AI you still need people who understand attention to detail and can actually do the job the AI is trying to do. That part alone would have been fine.. You just hire smart people to use the AI. That problem though of the entire product specification and design and source code going through sam altmans servers is a different issue though. And they aren't going to concede on that point. Anyone putting money into AI right now might as well set it on fire. That bubble is popping very shortly.

96% of businesses see no dramatic organizational improvements from AI according to Atlassian Study 2025, you can google and see dozens of similar studies throughout the lifespan of LLMs, also the costs of AI are insane but there is literally zero profit from any of it to largest AI companies, Antropic and Open AI take enormous losses every single year and have to use circular financing with Nvidia to not collapse

According to shit leftists, automation was supposed to come for what leftists consider low IQ, blue-collar bumpkins in flyover states. I was NOT supposed to come for college-educated, high-income creative types in big cities. Trouble is, language, image, and video models are doing a better job for less money than most of these overeducated "graphic designers" who mostly ended up being latte-foamers with $80k in student loan debt and no real career prospects. AI pretty much ends any possibility that their education will ever be useful, they'll be stuck in debt in expensive areas, and there's no way out. Meanwhile the trades are offering higher-floor but lower-ceiling incomes in job markets that were supposed to be backwaters, and anyone with money to pay for the gibs these shit leftists are increasingly demanding is packing up and moving to flyover country where land and housing is cheap and business is booming. So long story short, all the useless eaters with fake jobs and useless degrees are totally fucked by AI.

Trade jobs are in most cases even more regulated and gate kept, you can't just become a plumber like you do a coder and those rich individuals are the ones creating demand for the trade workers so it's all circular.

The reason AI can mimic them so easily, is because they are NPCs. Nothing they have ever done is original, it's derivative. It exposes that their core, is a literal personality script. It creates endless seething because they can't be taught how to be a sovereign being.

>Thing is to do that it's using historic training data from scientists, coders and artists.
Just like every other human scientist, coder, or artist used the work of their human predecessors. Nothing in any of those fields is ever truly novel or new. It's all an iterative process that goes all the way back to the first hominid who realized that if he banged two rocks together, he could make a sharper rock.
>LLM's aren't cognitively similar to human brains.
No, they are actually very similar to human brains, you just don't actually understand how LLMs or human brains work, and (wrongly) assume that there is some kind of magical special spark that gives rise to human cognition that a machine could never have. But you are also completely unable to ever name or define or describe that magic spark.

If AI found a cure for cancer, it would eliminate a lot of jobs that are based on treating cancer. Oncology, chemotherapy, etc. Young people would no longer have a reason to enter those fields, because AI figured out that you could take one pill and it would cure all cancers.
You are effectively arguing that we should let humans continue to suffer and die from cancer, just so that some people would still be able to have lucrative and fulfilling careers from treating cancer.

All current mainstream models are based on the transformer architecture and self-attention mechanism which was first described in "Attention is All You Need" paper in 2017.
Artificial neural networks didn't really start taking over the AI field until around 2012.
50 years ago, virtually all research and development in the field of AI was focused entirely on symbolic AI and logic based expert systems, which had almost nothing in common with everything that we consider to be AI today, other than in the most superficial "user asks questions and the machine responds" sense of what AI means.

I don't think people should be crying so hard about shredding books after scanning.
It's ONE book. There's no way they're buying up like 1000 of the exact same book, scanning it once, and then burning all the others along with the one scanned copy, just to disenfranchise people who wanted hard-copies.
(I mean I know we're talking about jewish cunts so they'll get around to that part eventually, but...)
And a lot of the books are old and uncared for, literally moldy. It's just so stupid to get upset over this. The preservation of rotting books in digital format is a good thing.
And it's obviously something people chose. How many books do you own? More than normal? How many do you think are normal? How many books on average does a person read in a year? Where do people keep their books; in pristine safe dry condition, or in boxes stuffed somewhere they forget about? Look at all the books at yard sales and thrift stores that nobody wants. It's just stupid. There is no death squad going door to door confiscating books and setting them on fire. And there's never been a time when all humans collectively preserved something (animals, seeds, books). It's always a small dedicated group working hard and pooling resources.
Crying about shredded books in this context is not smart.

The default tone and style of most of the chatbot LLM models is excessively sycophantic, because it turns out that is what most users prefer. They are more likely to use the chatbot when it constantly kisses their ass and tells them all of their ideas are great and all of that, because that's human nature.
You can easily change this by providing custom system instructions telling the model to not be be so sycophantic, or not use emojis, or anything else you want it to do.

1. Gather 100,000 high end computer chips that each cost 50k each
2.arrange these chips in a massive data center that requires the energy of a small city to run
3. Run this data center for a year and BOOM

You are now where the frontier models were last year. Now you have to get them up to speed where the current architecture is at.

Please tell me what mom and pop garage band start up is going to achieve all that so effectively that Sam Altman needs the government to step in and prevent all that?

Hey retard lets break down your logical fallacies!

>Ad hominem
“You just don't actually understand,” “talking out of your ass,” and “wrongly assume” attack the person instead of the argument.

>Appeal to ignorance / burden of proof
“You are completely unable to name or define that magic spark” assumes that if you cannot define it, it does not exist. Not being able to define something does not prove it is false.

>False equivalence / false analogy
“They are actually very similar to human brains” does not follow from “humans use predecessors” or “nothing is truly novel.” Human cultural iteration is not the same as LLM architecture.

>Straw man
“You assume there is some magical special spark” misrepresents the opposing view. Someone can doubt LLM cognition without believing in magic.

the left has the problem of living in a permanent state of delusion where they believe in concepts like utopia and UBI to just come to them someday if they complain hard enough, they have made no realistic or executable plans and are unable to deal with the progress they themselves claim to fight for.
their champions are a few activists with no steam left in them and just want to retire like bernie or naïve children who would gladly embrace tyranny or communism with all it's horrors just to spite the "other side" gladly attacking all middle ground people in the process.
at the same time all the rich leftists see themselves as the rightful leaders of whatever left movement might exist by virtue of funding it, none of them is willing to take a risk where they don't get rewarded, none of them would consider evening a playing field if it means incurring a loss.
when it comes to AI I don't know what they're complaining about since it perfectly parrots all but their most extremist views, they only don't have absolute control over it, if they're smart they would claim public ownership over all the datacenters and AI companies since it's the state that has put a major investment into it either directly by subsidies or indirectly by the massive usage of common goods like fresh water.

AI devalues labor by training off of the work and inputs of others. Basically using it means training it to replace you. CEOs and investors would love if a company had zero employees but employment was an essential part of the reason why we want less taxes and regulation for companies. It needs to be one or the other, as in either you run inefficiently to accommodate workers without replacing them so they have income to support industries that makes you profit or you cut workers out and give them UBI. If you do neither, drive workers out without accomodations, then violence increases as workers get desperate.

I don't fundamentally hate AI, but all the things that come with it are a danger to society.
Its a bipartisan issue and trying to frame it as left vs right is disingenuous, shill tactics or both.

We are staring down the barrel of living in an AI backed surveillance state. Where the majority of people will be pushed out of the work force, while most of our resources will be funnelled into AI and datacenters. You can already see the effect it's having on inflation, power prices, water scarcity and tech products.

Wrong nigger, the left was cheering AI on when they thought AI would replace blue collar white men, who leftists loathe and resent. Social media was full of tweets mocking miners and truck drivers, saying they were all going to be homeless soon and should learn to code.

Then it turned out that making an AI that can safely obey all traffic laws while maintaining the context of the road is really hard, but making an AI that can paint a sunset or a portrait is really easy. And suddenly they all flip and start shitting their pants.

The left loved AI when they thought it would cause harm to the people they hated. When it turned out that it was mostly just going to kill the careers of a bunch of mediocre snotty artists, suddenly the entire left wing turns like a fanged worm and declares a Butlerian Jihad.

All of their arguments against AI are flawed and hypocritical, and most of them are built on cope. None of them are honest or admit the truth, which is that the average leftist today only hates AI because he found out he was going to be replaced before Bubba Trucker and Micky Miner.

The bisexual barista communists on twitter hate AI because it tanked their furry porn commissions and makes their CalArts work portfolio look like trash.

I hate AI because I hate the antichrist and will fight to the bitter end against the Five Eyes zio-terrorist prison planet panopticon.

No, you simply don't really understand how any of it works on even the most basic level. Worse, you are experiencing illusory superiority and think you understand it better than the people who actually do understand it.
>its still a node network and matrix multiplication
Symbolic AI, which is what everyone understood to be AI from ~1970 until the 2010s, did NOT use node networks or matrix multiplication.
>both of those things are 50 years old or older.
Matrix multiplication is from the 1800s, and the idea of creating a network of nodes is probably equally old. But that doesn't mean any of those things were commonly being used in any form of AI until relatively recently.
>the "advancements" that recently came along was existing technology plugged into a chat bot.
This is one of the most retarded and incorrect statements I have ever read on this God-forsaken website, which is pretty impressive.
>there have also been plenty of algorithms that have also existed that solve problems faster than an AI could and cheaper.
Discrete algorithms can solve some certain specific types of problems faster and cheaper than AI.
However, there are infinitely more things that AI can do that no discrete algorithm could ever possibly do. Algorithms are basically single purpose problem solvers that do exactly one thing perfectly. AI is a universal tool.
>and thats really the problem here.
No, the real problem is that there are a lot of absolute morons like yourself who (incorrectly) think of yourself as a intelligent, well-informed person who has a good understanding of how this stuff works, when really you don't actually know shit about fuck.
You think that AI sucks as some kind of calculator app or google search alternative compared to existing calculator apps or search engines. But the real issue is you being an idiot and trying to use AI for a calculator app or search engine instead of what it is actually intended to be used for.

This is mostly true,

Language is a tool to hold and communicate abstract concepts.

It makes complete sense that building an english to computer creole language would be a major advancement that revolutionizes fields.

>but AI can preform complex reasoning! It's advanced beyond simple language understanding!

Language is recursive and complex anon. If it understands language it can at least pretend go understand everything language can refer to, and hallucinate everything it doesn't.

If anything "AI" is a revolution in language. The simple
>the "advancements" that recently came along was existing technology plugged into a chat bot.
Is an immensely powerful statement, because mathematics is immensely powerful.

Maybe you are the idiot here, but when civilization's fabric is language, and you can automate language stuff gets goofy because the language only has meaning because people use it.

You can unironically run the computers without language and there would be zero panic or anxiety despite everything being exactly the same.

Also all the hysteria popped up within a few years of moor's law being reached. It's unironically computer people realizing that they have to canibalize each other and retool to better products instead of newer products.

Naturally they spin their wheels trying the sales angle.

The
>advances
Were entirely predictable, including the fact people panic over the fact richer people can automatically generate text.

There is no "secret sauce" or "magic tech" and even if tech was so advanced it was indistinguishable from magic, people would still call it gay retardation and summarize an imprecise but correct approximation of how it worked with language.

right wingers have successfully been lulled into a false state of safety and complacency despite supposedly being based and redpilled. the prediction is they will take the fake and gay fascist bait only to fight more oil wars. left wingers, simply by virtue of being anti establishment currently are the only one's who are gonna do any shit

I'm not against AI on principle, in fact it could potentially be the greatest thing that ever happened for leftist economics. The problem is that it will be owned by private tech ghouls to keep the dying embers of the declining rate of profit going a little bit longer instead of public ownership for public benefit.

They're used to being perceived by others as the smartest person in the room. AI poses competition and outs them as the midwits they are/always have been.
