I understand the principal that we don't want the clankers taking our jorbs.. I went to panda express a while back, and they had AI drive through. I was taken aback at first w\ the moral aspect of it. I rattled off my order. There was a mistake because of customizing one item, HOWEVER... I intuitively simply said "start over" and ran through very quickly without the first mistake. Now... fast forward to recent months I'm at whataburger and this girl is taking my order and she's not ringing up the things as meals, and then reads off my order completely fucked up... There was no start over. It was a cluster fuck. I literally left the drive through. Whereas with the Ai, I merely said start over, this human was incapable and had completely fucked up the order process.
Mind you the panda express was end of 2025. I have zero doubt mcdonalds and every other chain could easily roll out ai ordering.

For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.

One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".

Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs.

I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant.

Have you heard Americans speak, there is no way AI can ever understand the number of accents and amount of slang in their speech. Every customer will sound different.

only good item is the sausage buscuit... I'd prefer with egg but they charge like $2 for a fucking egg and triples the price of the sandwhich. And I'm trying to eat 3 of those things if I'm eating them.
I tested the waters recently w\ a quarter pounder meal and it didn't give me the shits, and tasted ok. But if I'm spending 10+ i'd rather eat other items.
Burger king failed my test entirely. They had a burger + "crunch wrap" w\ fries... The fries were actually good but weren't salted. The burger was low tier, but edible. The "crunch wrap" was literally a chicken strip inside of a cold tortilla w\ some special sauce and tasted like poverty.

Honestly, I would trust AI running fast food places over shitskins. Also, as an autist, I unironically prefer ordering via touchscreens, rather than having to talk to someone.

With AI you can build a profile of a customers order history based on voice recognition and then sell that data.

Yah ok so how will young people learn the absolute basics of commerce?

Also if you think about it it's all relative actually.

The MEGA RICH ALREADY HAVE TOTAL CONTROL MONEY AND DEBT... So what exactly is it they going to do with the extra money???

When I was younger I recoiled at the idea of a fish sandwich from McDonald's but I still remember the first time I had it circa 2002 on a Friday when I decided to throw caution in the wind and get the Filet-O-Fish McDeal. Was it life changing? I wouldn't go quite this far but it certainly was an eye opener.

No, it might not be my usual or even a frequent companion in my car, but the Filet-O-Fish holds a special place in my heart. The soft steamed bun is like a heavenly pillow that holds a perfectly crisp and flaky patty of sustainable Alaskan pollock. The tartar sauce is impeccable with just the right amount of tanginess and the perfect creamy companion to the patty; it really does tie everything together. Cheese on fish? I wasn't a believer either but that slice of processed cheddar cheese, invariably perfectly melted like you see in the ads, is a magnificient addition. Possibly superfluous, I can't say for sure because I've only had one with cheese, but I have faith that the McDonald's creators knew what they were doing when they added it; they tend to perceive the gestalt of each menu item in a way that most of us simply cannot.

I am a fan of juxtaposing textures and I concede that the Filet-O-Fish does not have a contrasting crunch to balance the impossibly soft steamed bun and generous helping of tartar sauce. But you know what? It works. God knows why but it works, it really does. I sometimes alternate bites with their world famous fries, refreshing every so often with an ice cold Diet Coke that cleanses my palate and readies me for the next delightful bite.

For me, it will always be the McChicken. But when I'm feeling adventuresome or just want a change from the usual perfect sandwich, I go for the Filet-O-Fish.

It won't. They put them up in checkers and then removed them months later. Now you literally get a chud in India

Failed idea.

Just block the drive-thru line repeating "SPEAK WITH AN OPERATOR" until a person takes over. Easy. The store gets punished if it takes too long for people to get through the line. Go full Boomer.

The self ordering kiosks increased their earnings by around 30% because of missing social control on your order and nudging you to buy extras.
This will work I guarantee you
