Also there's an outdoor shopping plaza near where I used to live that uses it to great effect to minimize security staffing. Bums aren't a problem there but minority loitering and fighting issues evaporated when they started setting up small speakers every 50 feet or so quietly playing classical music. It's amazing how effective it is at both keeping undesirables away and creating a pleasant ambience.
