I get genetic kidney stones. 1-2 a year. I don't eat bad food, I only drink water, and I'm in good shape. It's like getting shot it's so painful. There's a reason so many people in my shoes end up killing themselves, it's that bad. I had to wait in an ER waiting room for five hours once just to be seen and that 12mm stone had to be surgically removed. I'm also immune/allergic to narcotics. They don't relieve my pain and make me throw up projectile style constantly. I've had ER docs tell me women say the pain is as bad or worse than childbirth. Our healthcare system is a mess.
