When somebody doesn't like you for any reason, you can tell by their stare. Another thing you should know is that Germans usually have very good hygiene. Daily showers (with shampoo and others), teeth brushing and more is common and if you don't want to stand out negatively you should do these things just as often. We also separate our trash into biodegradables, plastics, paper products and such. Do not treat your waste like you do in india. Depending on where you live, you may want to think about your means of transit. For a student trains are common, be aware however that they tend to be unreliable. You will also need tickets for them, usually you can get them either online or at the station. There is also a pretty good app by DB, with which you can plan your train travels. Universities in Germany tend to be very left wing, right wing students cannot really mention their opinions without facing consequences. Technical degrees are thankfully relatively neutral however, unlike arts. If you intend to work to sustain your studies, be sure to read the tax code carefully, it's complex and there's a lot you can do wrong. That's all I can think of for now.
