Why do they insist young men have to work but also make it as hard as humanly possible to get a job ?
>>
>>543608549
It's deliberately so they can point to a relative lack of male participation in the workforce later as justification for a draft

They also need to thin out payroll everywhere. AI is far more advanced than anyone realizes, the just for fun version we get is already wildly advanced. For about a decade now you kept people on payroll just in case you needed them and to keep your competition from having them. Now that isn't necessary. But they can't just lay everyone off it would cause a revolt. So they "keep hiring" but make the process gay, retarded and impossible so that no one actually does get hired. The net result is a huge cut in total workforce without the bad publicity.

i just got back from an interview (warehouse job) and there were three (3) different HR roastoids across from me in the conference room (they have never lifted a finger in a warehouse a day in their lives). what are we doing here?
>>
>>543608895
It has nothing to do with AI.
It's simply that COVID showed the only "essential workers" in the modern economy are grocery store wagies.
Thinning out payroll has been mostly about covering debt.
>>
>be me, Methuselah
>interview at a zoomer outsourcing house
>HR girl rejects me two weeks later
>feedback "english not sufficient"
>doubt myself, sign up for a language school, take the placement test
>instantly put in C2 proficiency (absolute highest level)
they literally just spin a wheel of random excuses

The one post by this id accusation was made a couple minutes after the thread was posted

Their hr system doesn't have "ick" as a reason for rejection.
>>
>>543610650
many such cases

they're baiting you to ruin your own thread OP
if OP replies too much or too early, it's similar to saging the thread
>>
>>543610343
Consider the following: if the interview had been conducted in Russian or whatever your first language is, the assessment would've been "insufficient communication skills" (rather than "insufficient Russian").

Competence and performance are not the same.

If your baseline is "autistic retard unable to handle interviews," your "competence" (=ability to do well on tests) does not matter.

The interview was in English (your L2), so your poor performance was assessed as "insufficient English." And you protest that, pointing to some test result, which makes sense superficially, but the fact is you're missing *the point* entirely.

i already admitted i failed the vibe check. take your horse paste, schizo.
>>
>>543608549
this basically happened to my friend. He had a round 1 interview, then 10 days later had a second round interview, then they wanted a 3rd interview a week later and he already found another job.
>>543608738
then they should probably tone down the feminism because wtf, how can any man look at pic-related and be willing to let himself be drafted.
>>
>>543611510
A failed vibe check would've resulted in generic feedback, such as "not aligned with company values" or "not a good match for the role." Or they would've simply ghosted you (that's what we do). Instead, you were given a VERY specific signal as to what needs work. This is extremely unusual and you should unironically take it seriously.

Success starts when cope ends.

i appreciate the concern and will to help. nowadays i deliver 100+ page reports and speak at pan-European conferences. it was the only time i ever got filtered before technicals. just shared it because the HR excuse proves OP's point, i.e. hiring hurdles are completely arbitrary bullshit.

>5 rounds of interviews

women were a mistake
