I'd much rather have all my people healthy and educated. Free meals in school, free healthcare, free university, subsidized housing, all financed through the collective work of the people who work and live for something greater than themselves. Life isnt about wealth and material, its about culture and identity and belonging.Public sector should not make profit. All profits should be redistributed for the state and by the state back to the people, into healthcare and infrastructure and education. Entreprenours should obviously be encouraged but excessive wealth should be controlled. Naturally said entreprenours will feel a sense of belonging to their nation as well.But without an ethnostate, socialism merely becomes theft, a parasitic system in a society where there is no belonging and everyone care for themselves or their own group, and only vote for socialism in order to benefit their own interests, so a right-wing economic system of low taxes and self-rewarding interests is far more preferable. USA has never had any real ethnonationalism the same way Europeans states has had, and that's the solution to the problem you're describing; the ethnonationalism must simply be a stronger component, it should be the central core of society and culture, with socialism simply applied to it, rather than the other way around. The nation should simply be as strong a component as class is to communists.And again, you Americans are from a different history, background, identity and culture which makes you fear and resent big government more than we do.
