What's actually happening. Is there actually like, a free fire zone in the gulf right now and the US air force is constantly shooting down drones and missiles and planes and tankers are under attack but everyone kind of is ignoring it or the hits aren't stopping the ships or they are, because either this is wrong or it's the other thing. They say all the oil is getting out now but is it under fire and are they losing tankers doing it? US troops are on those ships. help a nigger out you bastards.
>US air force is constantly shooting down drones and missiles and planes Kek
>>543635031Even when this War ends, it will take years for the Strait to be cleaned from the destroyed tankers and open again.
>>543635031The US tells the GCC to load ships in preparation for an escort and then escorts them out with helicopters and planes protecting them(An Apache got downed by an Iranian drone while doing this on the 9th of June), tankers will continue unless they take critical damage, this is exactly what happened during the Tanker War during the 1980s
>>543635031Oil is getting out when they pay the Iranian issued toll which more and more are paying because it makes sense to pay a million or two to get hundreds of millions of cargo moving no matter what the jews say.
>>543635031iran is shooting anyone who doesnt pay the toll, the us is parked way way way out of range and doing nothing about it
>>543635319Also, it recently came out that the US has been using marines aboard the USN ships in the area to crew and protect tankers and cargo ships, eight US soldiers were injured when Iran struck a vessel transiting the strait on the 14th of September
>>543635319why isnt iran using hypersonics to take out the tankers?
>>543635319>protecting them from 900km awaykek
>>543635344>>543635395This is a fantasy, the US is successfully escorting ships out of the strait, you cunts are just the opposite side of the same coin as miggers
>>543635443Planes and helicopters fly you fucking retard, there's a reason why KC-135 stratotankers are constantly flying over the strait>>543635410They need radar to target ships, the US keeps blowing up their radar to prevent this
>>543635344I thought the US was turning around ships that weren't part of their escort convoys or they knew paid Iran. It seems like a bit of a mess. >>543635319So yeah a free fire zone. Potential for a downed plane or US kia on a tanker any particular day. You know, a bunch of marines got wounded doing this in september the pentagon said which is how we got confirmed marines are on the tankers. They added like 30 wounded sailors too but no explanation.
>>543635031Um, sorry sweaty the straight is closed
Is Irans strategy to sink so many tankers in the strait that the wrecks block the passage?
>>543635531Yes, unfortunately there's very little news about what's going on, the US wants it kept quiet because of its impact on oil futures, the GCC have long since banned anyone taking pictures/videos of Iranian attacks as well, most of what we get is from OSIT or media outlets using publicly accessible satellite images, but the US has also censored those at times during this war too
>>543635594Non issue since tankers use the "Omani corridor" to try dodge Iranian missiles
>>543635743>Pile up so many tankers in the Omani corridor that they tip over and also blockade the Iranian part
The most powerfull nation of all time... losing to cheap drones
>>543635531Doesn't matter what the US says, companies be paying because they don't want their ships getting blown up.>>543635594Blowing up even one basically raises the risk too high for anyone to make the transit without paying. These ships don't have insurance and they carry 1-2m barrels of oil (or equivalent gas) That's 80-160m dollars in cargo. Even a 1% chance of being blown up means the equivalent insurance payment would have to be 10m+ to make it sustainable and that's without considering the ships and crews that could be lost (granted oil companies probably value those at 0, the ships are pretty cheap and crews are indians so fully expendable). Iran is charging 2m per vessel. It's fairly obvious which way the wind blows.
