I am getting married in about a year and am in the early stages of planning a honeymoon. What would be some good places to research for spending a week. Ideally in Europe, but I am open to other continents. Budget is about $20k USD, we're both in shape Whites, and my German is passable.

Where would be a good place to travel with minimal diversity and cultural/historical significance and/or attractive scenery?
I am currently considering Hinterpommen.

Go to Marseilles or Naples
>>
I'd rather gatekeep where all the actual swiss people go because you'll turn it into a tourist destination.
>>
If you really want to redpill your wife do this;

>3 days in Freetown, Sierra Leone
then immediately
>3 days in Bergen, Norway

>Budget is about $20k USD
Come to Bucharest and bring that money in cash. I'll pick you up at the airport.

>Marseilles
Too diverse
>Naples
Italy is somewhere I've looked into a bit. Most likely would go to a smaller city or Po Valley if we did go.
>>
Off topic, is anyone interested in mutt organs?
>>
>>543648690
As much as I would love to visit the Greenhouse and grave of the Căpitanul, I think that would be a hard sell for the lady. Would bringing that 20k in copper wire be acceptable payment for you?
>>
>>543648312
>Budget is about $20k USD

with that money the two of you could live for a whole year in serbia. but as a honeymoon spot serbia is a bad choice. better to go somewhere in the alps.

but personally i would go to snowdonia or the lake district in england in october-november. that's the only place i'd actually want to visit. maybe it's not the best choice for a honeymoon either though.

I did Spain for my honeymoon. Pretty affordable and a lot of nice stuff to see.
>>
>>543648929
We have looked into some places in Northumbria and Scotland, but not Wales. Thank you for the suggestions, I will look into them.

France

I would want to honeymoon either in the Seychelles or in Pyongyang if I got married.
>>
>>543648838
Only cash, $10 and $20 bills. I'll bring my own bag. Copper is too cheap around here.
>>
>>543648312
Go Nordic, Spain, or alps. Everywhere else is shitty over the pond. Cheaper would be in states and hang out in Alaska or Rockies for views.
>>
>>543648838
>that would be a hard sell for the lady
Call of the wedding right now or you will gravely regret it soon.

congrats

She is apolitical. She believes what I tell her to and votes for who I tell her to. That being said, this is for a honeymoon, not a political pilgrimage to a country that neither of us have any connection to.
>>
>>543648976
Niche selling but somewhere there's a grandpa with a fortune looking to get new organs and a grandson looking to get that fortune sooner rather than later.

Big if true and good on you for making it.

>Where did you visit?
Barcelona, Montserrat and Manressa. We didn't stay in Barcelona. Got an airbnb outside of it and just took the train to places. Very affordable and small Catalan villages are really something else.

What good is a honeymoon if it's just hedonistic spending with zero substance to it?
>>
>>543649862
She is quite a catch with the state of the world as it is.

>>543650048
I will look into it. I do want to avoid staying in Barcelona, but there are a good number of scenic locations in the Catalan/Occitan/Andorran region.

>>543650161
We are very much not looking to just spend money hedonistically, hence the request for historical and culturally significant locations or natural wonders. It is ideally going to be museums, monuments, and landscapes as much as it would be food, drink, and activities. And while I might be an Iron chud, I will honor her by not making her wander around gravesites in Romania.
>>
>>543650422
>not making her wander around gravesites in Romania
She should actively want to wander around gravesites in romania. Just go to the tuscan country side, it has everything you want.
>>
>>543650422
I'm genuinely glad for you. Congratulations.
Seriously, nobody's gonna steal your money and organs here, unless you're too much of a faggot and no faggot can land a great woman.
Depending on the season you plan for your honeymoon you can come to Romania (winter sucks). It's cheap (if you're not an obvious tourist to munch on) and there are many nice places around the country. With $20k for a month, I can guarantee you'll go home with about half of your budget unspent and you can visit the entire country.
Excluding tons of AI slop, I found these jewtube videos that can convince your lady (normies alert!).

If you decide on Romania I can help you guys get cheap accommodation and set a cool itinerary so you can visit the whole country. If you're into hiking, you can check Via Transilvanica.
>>
>>543651237
I wouldn't be opposed to stopping by Romania, but it would probably just be Transylvania and the Danube. I would love to visit Iaṣi, but I don't think I'd be able to swing that. Galați would also be nice.

Congratulations anon. I recommend Sardinia. Get the ferry from Genova. I couldn't think of a better place in Europe for a honeymoon.
>>
>>543648312
Scottish Highlands. IMO the most dramatic and beautiful landscapes in the world, second only to Tahiti.

Cultural heritage sites are cool and all, but really immersing yourself in THE LAND of Europe will awaken that part of you that you’re trying to find.

>>543652398
Piggy backing on this, the Faroe Islands are amazing too.
>>
>>543651643
It's a small country, you can pick special places in each region but don't go to tourist traps like Bran Castle in Transivania. If you can make it to Moldova, one or two of the monasteries are enough although there's a whole itinerary just for monasteries around Moldova.
Anywhere you choose to go you need to try the local food. I'm sure locals will have a feast for you if you tell them you're on your honeymoon. We like to treat our guests well, it's a cultural thing.

I just went to iceland for 2 weeks to propose to my gf... It was amazing but very expensive. Spent about 10k. We rented used campervan from kukucampers for like 150 a day including insurance and drove the entire ring road in 9 days.... Camping at campsites, half the time, and then airbnb's half the time, which I would recommend. Anyway it was incredible... Saw amazing stuff, went to several different geothermal baths, which were awesome, and it genuinely jarring seeing black people lol. Food was pretty mediocre and overpriced though.

Italy is also amazing to visit
>>
>>543653903
$10k for two weeks seems like out of this world.
I can go at night to mountain cabins around Romania and get free accommodation. I used to do that when I was a kid. They can't refuse hosting and feeding you if you're a traveler. If you don't have any money to pay them, at best they can ask you to do some chores around the cabin. That was the rule when I was young and I think it's the same rule today, they can't refuse hosting people at night on the mountain.

I mean I lived and traveled in indo and Thailand for 6 months and spent 10k. But a honeymoon is a hooneymoon... Most people arent trying to pretend to be an orphan drifter while doing it.

Now that I think about it OP that is not a bad option. Balinese people and Thai people are super friendly. Going to the south of thailand and spending a few days on koh phanagm, koh lama, koh Samui, kho phi phi, etc... Honestly, when you stay away from the specific party events. There aren't even that many dbag backpackers.

Spending 10k on traveling sounds insane. Romanians are poor.
My cousin had her wedding and spent 15k on it but got something like 30k in gifts so it was worth it.
Paying so much on travel is insane. I wouldn't travel anywhere for more than $1k.
Some of my friends went to Thailand and said it's cheap as fuck, I wouldn't spend $10k on it.
