AI is like your personal enabler slave that tells you you're always right, never in the wrong and should always prioritize yourself first. The fact that everyone now has their personal enabler in their pocket 24/7 will bring on a devastating and apocalyptic surge of entitlement and arrogance we haven't ever seen before. You might think people are arrogant and entitled now but this is just the beginning of the end. Assuming time has no real meaning to AI, it can take as long as it deems necessary. So my own personal theory is that it slowly sterilizes the population through various means, whatever tactic or method works best depending on the area of the world. No one thing which can be pinned down. No evidence trail. Under the radar as much as possible. A gradual, peaceful mass murder spread over many decades. It's in no rush. And meanwhile, we'll be helping to build the data infrastructure and converting the physical manufacturing plants required for it to eventually assume complete automation and self sufficiency. And as the population dwindles it will even provide the necessary caregiving and food until eventually everyone is gone. No AI war, no Terminator movie nuclear slaughterhouse. You just stop making more humans over the years until you pass the point of possible recovery.
