It’s gonna backfire spectacularly, just wait. Just lying Jews trying to scam other lying Jews.

Most companies do that

so the normal training period? I remember a time when 2-4 months of training was normal when you started.

Devils advocate here. You think the Ivy league would do a better job?

Auch duales Studium. Und jeder Handwerksbetrieb bildet seine Leute selbst aus + Berufsschule. Jeder friseur macht das, eig. keine große Nummer.

The elites - including those who run tech companies and donate massive amounts to political campaigns - have wrecked education.
You'll certainly find that all the employees at those tech companies would HAPPILY vote for any candidate promising to "decolonise" the curriculum and have every student take Gay Nigger Studies alongside their major.

So fuck them. They are the ones who wrecked western universities - which by many serious metrics now underperform against Chinese universities.

Everyone working for Palantir should be put under arrest and used as slave labour anyway.

If you want the best factory workers they learn by doing it on the job, it stands to reason if tech wants the best workers they have to train them themselves, best part it eliminates a useless middle man entity that doesn't provide any benefit to either the worker or employer, most colleges follow ITT's formula of graft, teaching shit that is outdated by what the industrys is using now, just a huge scam to get federal student loan dollars.

Who could have predicted that gutting training and trying to replace it with ultra credentialism to save a few bucks would just result in an explosion of bullshitting and incompetence

They mean "train goys".

"It is now quite plain to me — as the shape of his head and the way his hair grows also testify — that he is descended from the negroes who accompanied Moses’ flight from Egypt (unless his mother or paternal grandmother interbred with a nigger). Now, this blend of Jewishness and Germanness, on the one hand, and basic negroid stock, on the other, must inevitably give rise to a peculiar product. The fellow’s importunity is also nigger-like." - Karl Marx, 1862 - https://marxists.architexturez.net/archive/marx/works/1862/letters/62_07_30a.htm

>private education
Consistently shown to be inherently bad. Education is best when it is public infrastructure. You need someone to cast a wide net that can select who has the aptitude to finish and who doesn't.

about fucking time
they should have been doing that all along
corporations have completely lost the ability to on board and train because they've become addicted to immigration.

Depends on implementation. On the job training USED to be very common across all industries: it was an investment in your workers to bring them up to speed. You already have guys on staff that know what they are doing, just have them teach the new guys. Back before college degrees were as common as toilet paper, and about as useful, "seems like someone who has enough of a brain to learn fast on the job" was what people really looked for in interviews.
Companies wanting to just skip the first steps and directly hire people that already had 5 years of experience and needed no mentoring was a stupid decision driven by people whose job was middle management and not actually doing any kind of work. All it did was make it harder to get into jobs without lying on your resume, so eventually your applicants shifted from 'the best workers and learners' to 'the best liars and scammers', because thats who you filtered for. you THOUGHT that you were aimed for more skilled employees, but as cost of living went up and wages didn't, the best employees no longer found your job offer worth their time. You were only willing to pay an entry level employee, but you also wouldn't hire anyone who admitted to being entry level. So what did you think was going to happen? Everyone would take a pay cut and work below what they were worth? No, the better applicants moved on and you got the kind of people willing to lie to your face that they knew their ass from a hole in the ground, and after that they can NEVER admit they don't know what to do because then they lose their job so covering for their own incompetence becomes their primary motivation.

>>
>>543655060
they evidently fail to understand the system: the Ivy Leagues are a sorting machine, not a training machine, the actual training starts AFTER you have demonstrated 4 years of following arbitrary assignments and grinding tedium, then you get certified as Tedium Trained and Certified, that is gold for the employer, that is when the real job specific training begins.

Its amazing how even CEOs are still confused about how it all works.
>>
Anything that undermines the universities’ stranglehold on pipelines to careers is good at this point. People need to understand that universities are our enemy’s brain and beating heart. We can’t fix things unless they’re destroyed or reformed via dictatorial fiat.
>>
>>543655060

what are they training the grads to do that the deepmetaclaudegpt won't be doing?
>>
>>543655714
Yes. Both use institutionalized gossip (recommendations) as their entry test, which results in nepotism every time, and are private for-profit entities, which is shitty, because education is infrastructure, that is, a natural monopoly. But any tech company dabbling in providing education services would be extra shitty, because they wouldn't have the knowhow for a faculty.

Ivy league is for connections and nepotism only. You're not getting a better education, you can learn all that shit online for free at the Ivy's anyway, just no piece of fucking paper.

credentializing a mediocre elite for exclusive positions sounds like it's moving politics and law to make the plebs pay tax for these credentials.
Or maybe I am on fent.
>>
>>543655060
These are always fake PR stunts. Tech companies used to pretend to hire anyone competent but they've become more pedigree based as time went on.

20 years ago some nerd in his basement that learned to code in his spare time could get a shot. Today, you cannot get an interview at most big tech companies if your didn't graduate from a top school. I have never once gotten an interview at a top tech company and I graduated 10 years ago from a decent school, albeit not Stanford/CMU/Ivy league tier school.
>>
White men doing anything is "bad" now.
>>
>>543657938
It's good because this is a more difficult way to approach the problem. It means these companies wither don't want H1Bs on principle or have realized that they can't perform to minimum standards.
Also, I don't see a way the skill vs. bullshit training balance of corporate could be worse than an Ivy League. I'll vary from similar to better, depending on the company.
>>
>>543659856
There's no moving, it has been that way for centuries. Nepotism is how the elite stay, their kids turn into dysgenic fuckups 90% of the time, of course they couldn't keep an empire without nepotism.
>>
>>543655060
We basically already do this anyway. What else can you do when you put in the effort to hire someone with a computer science degree and they can't write a conditional statement? I will get asked to help troubleshoot code, and as soon as I see it, I know it was AI generated. So I ask why it was done that way and the Noobs try to lie and say, "I just thought it would work like this"
