Airbnb Superhost here of 9 years, dumb money bought houses they couldn't afford around the Covid era(Hotels le bad) and now the market is very saturated. Combine that with local governments wanting a cut as well and adding more fees/regulations to squeeze more. Airbnb has been getting shit for hidden fees and now all fees are visible before you book. Plus the area i am at hotels are getting leaner and cheaper to book.PLUSANY CLEANING SERVICE YOU EMPLOY IS LIKELY TOTAL SHIT FULL OF ENTITLED BEANERS. they barely clean your unit and want $150 for one hour of cleaning.
