Exercise/weightlifting is a good place to start because your body can adapt quickly and has very easily quantifiable improvements. It might be hard to see your day to day or week to week improvements on guitar or drawing or woodworking but even if you are only running a mile 5 seconds faster or adding 5lbs to your lift it is an improvement that's very easy to see. That improvement can be addicting and then you can incorporate other hobbies that require more patience or that have abstract improvement qualities.A day where you've tried to be better than yesterday is never a day wasted. It could also be slowly removing negatives. Maybe you actually don't like how much time you spend scrolling or jerking off. Slowly reducing those negatives is still an improvement that you should be proud of. Start small, expect setbacks, but don't give up.
