Marijuana remains federally regulated under the Controlled Substances Act.
>>
Weed made me come a little too close to psychosis after extended use.

But it should still be legal.
>>
>>543673611

No because federally legal weed would mean California would end up growing all the weed like they do most vegetables now.

Youre too stupid to realize cannabis companies cannot legally deduct their operating expenses due to continued federal prohibition under IRS code section 280e, among many other things

Yes, but only to remove it from voting influence, also blue voters will be too high to vote.

I have four beautiful weed plants in a raised bed my lovely wife bought me. Actually she was sick of them eventually taking up half the garden. I spent FOUR HOURS today pre-trimming the leaves off mostly, as they are just coming into orange hairs in the buds. Last week I saw an aphid so I sprayed the whole group down with Spinosad, which isn't legal for use on commercial buds but which is harmless to humans and super effective on bugs. I will do it again tomorrow after wetting them down. I also autistically looked at every one of the must be over 1000 buds, to check for bud and stem rot, and pruned that away. I live in Oregon and have been growning weed every year since it became legal. I have my own strains.

Basically the secret is you gotta trim or pull away all the tiny-bud branches that grow late in the season near the bases of the stems away, they pull nutrients from the big cola buds that have been growing for a while. My first colas appeared, little q-tip green fluffers, in July. Now the colas are as big around as a softball and I could easily show my weed in High Times Magazime.

You can't just plant it and ignore it. You have to trim back the inner foliage so the buds can get sunlight, and pluck off the new budlets, so the plant doesn't divert energy into 'em just like with tomatoes. My weed has turned all purple colored and the amount of sheer crystals is insane. I wash the plants with a gentle hose every few weeks, it doesn't wash away the crystals because they're not water soluable. And every three days or less I austistically investigate the four plants (my legal limit) for bud rot, and trimp off any rotten buds and throw them AWAY and not into the compost. A couple years ago I lost half my crop because I was just lazy with this. To date I have thrown away maybe ten buds, twenty max.

Then I take it inside and dry it with a fan, trim the buds, seal them to eliminate the clorophyll and burp them, they will last all year! Yay!

Legal weed is DOGSHIT. Illegal too. My outdoor looks better than the finest $80 a gram indoor you can find in Eugene or Portland at the weed shops with armed guards.

Jim Belushi grows weed just upriver from me. I met him at a weed and greet at a dispensary. He thought it was cool that I loved Wild Palms so much and he promised to autograph my Laserdisc set next time I saw him. He's cool.

citronella plants will keep the bugs away!

I have a packed little arboretum here so sadly nothing keeps anything away it's so dense. The weed is partly shaded by an Asian pear I have which always under-produces and attracts aphids. I am going to cut the bitch ass thing down and put in a dwarf Siberian tart cherry tree next year, maybe that will help.

I had these red mites last year but sprayed the whole yard with like 10 packs of nematodes in the spring, haven't seen 'em since.

I will elaborate on why legal weed is dogshit. For one, it's clearly almost always been tumbled, it has no visible hairs sticking out, and I think they dunk it too, either to clean it or extract more of the "shatter." It is too hard to pass for proper weed, which you can crumble quite easily. I don't know what processes they put the legal weed through, and there is no regulation as far as that goes, but I have some here and it's harsh and weird tasting. I ran out of last year's weed a couple weeks back so I went to the weed store and bought some "upscale" weed and it's just fucking garbage.

I have no idea how people smoke this, I have been mixing it with pipe tobacco and puffing on it like Gandalf. This was $60 an ounce weed, three times the price of the true budget stuff lel.

Another thing - I hate to breach private information - but weed massively mellows out the black and hispanic communities and legal weed is associated with up to a 60% decrease in criminal offenses.

Everybody's too stoned to really cause any mischief. It works better than alcohol. Listen if you've ever toked a fattie and just sat there being like "whoa?" that's one less crime you'd do if you had done meth or even drank 1/2 bottle of Hennesey. Cheaper too.

My black brothers and sisters have to give props, weed mellows them out. I knew this mellow black chick named Brigidet in college, she was so mellow and she said, literally, she smoked a lot of weed to keep her animalistic nature under control. She fucked like an ANIMAL.

It's no longer true for all cannabis companies. On April 22, 2026, the DOJ issued a final order moving state-licensed medical cannabis and FDA-approved marijuana products to Schedule III, effective April 28, 2026. Because 280E applies only to Schedule I and II substances, covered cannabis is now outside the statute's reach. Treasury has said this should have "significant positive tax consequences" for medical cannabis businesses.
"Cannot deduct their operating expenses" is a bit too absolute even before this. Cannabis businesses could always subtract cost of goods sold, since that reduces gross income rather than being a deduction. The real pain was the loss of deductions on everything else.
