It just feels more alive than Europe right now. You can still build something big there without drowning in bureaucracy. The economy moves faster, the best companies and universities in the world are mostly American, and if you have ambition the ceiling is higher. People still come here chasing opportunity in a way they don’t for most of Europe.The culture is louder and more chaotic, but it produces more of the movies, tech, and music that the rest of the world actually consumes. Europe has great history and quality of life in a lot of places, but it often feels slower, more managed, and less willing to take big swings.Freedom of speech is still stronger here too. You can say a lot of things in the US that would get you in real trouble in parts of Europe. That matters.It’s not a wasteland, and plenty of European cities are nicer to live in day to day. But if you’re talking dynamism, ambition, and global influence, Europe just doesn’t match America right now.
