Everyone is arguing about consent and other things but the real question this issue raises is one about equality.

If women are equal to men then the woman clearly consented as much as the men did, everyone was drunk and high and everyone consented.

However if women arent equal to men then the man / men who took the woman with them had the duty to protect her from other men because she cant be trusted to make her own decisions. The men failed in their duty to protect and guide the women they were accountable for and therefore were complicit in exploiting someone much less than equal to them.

The problem we are running into is while society now believes men and women are equal, are laws are still written like women need to be protected, guided and in some cases restrained from doing things they want to do. Our laws are from a time where it was acknowledged that men and women arent equal but our beliefs now are that they are equal.

Its about women not being responsible for their choices when the outcome is less than desirable. Thats it. Thats all its ever been about.
Unironically, the men should just identify as women so that their lack of agency cancels out

Right, because our laws are written in a way that acknowledges that men and women aren't equal. These rape laws that we have are written in a way that suggests men have to protect women from their own choices because our laws acknowledge women will make bad decisions if left to their own devices.

We should either amend the laws or our beliefs.

It really comes down to who is responsible for the womans bad decisions, her or the man / men she was with. However we can't claim that men and women are equal if our laws are written in a way that men have to protect women from womens decisions.

Roses are red, violets are blue, college whore’s mad they call her a hoe,
and sues the frat bros too.

People are such retards, it's actually quite concerning that we've arrived to this level of misinformation and idiocracy. The fact that a large population of people haven't even looked into this case, and already are siding with her, just goes to show the double standard women have in society, and how much shit they can get away with just because they got a pussy.

The fact that she was totally fine with it initially & gave consent, shows that she doesn't give a fuck about being a degenerate. In fact, she even messaged one of the guys later talking about how this has to do with "sexuality, and how it's going to get normalized in the future and become more common". The only reason why she's suing them now, is because people learned about it, and rightfully so started calling her a whore and treating her like one. When it time to be accountable for her actions, she decided to double down, and instead claim it as rape. The irony of course is this transforming from a local college scene into international news. The dudes are also no better. They're also degenerates, but to falsely accuse them of rape is a step too far.

Not to sound like THAT guy, but this is a deeper problem than people really realize. It's a window into modern college life and the normalization of degeneracy in our society. The fact that this is the average young female in the US, is a alarmingly dangerous sign that things are starting to fall apart internally here.

Identity politics has always been about taking power from white men and making them second class citizens, whether it is feminism, black rights, transgender rights it never mattered. Its about removing white men from power and giving special privileges to anyone who isnt a white man

See we used to put up with this because no one ever suggested women were equal to men. The problem now is that we all are expected to pretend that women are equal to men but our laws are written in a way that makes it very clear women are not equal to men and in a lot of cases must be protected from their own decisions.

I'm kind of on the women arent equal to men and these guys should have protected her from her own decisions side but thats just not the way things are today.

My point is that these laws when it comes to rape and sexual assault are archaic because they were written at a time where it was accepted that men and women arent equal and was therefore the duty of men to protect women, often times from their own decisions.

You're trying to make reasonable arguments to unreasonable people.

I m not donald trump that is for sure.

What if the unreasonable people arent fundamentally retarded. You have to argue with those.

The rape and sexual assault laws don't matter because it was never about equality in the first place

In the US during the 1970s we had a whole movement called ERA that old school feminists wanted enshrined into constitutional law that men are the same as women and it was shot down primarily by other feminists because they didn't give special privileges for maternity leave and working class women

Not everyone here is unreasonable, I was just reading about the facts of the case and thought that this was an issue not many people had spoken about.

>The rape and sexual assault laws don't matter because it was never about equality in the first place
Right, I agree that's kind of my point. Our rape and sexual assault laws are written in a way that defines women as not equal to men and men being obliged to protect them on account of this.

Feminism was never about equality but rather about controlling men which is why the first things feminist hags did was ban gambling, drinking, basically anything that would let men have fun away from home, and then they raised the age of consent to the moon so that ran through hags didnt have to compete with younger virgin women.
That and also it was a collective bargaining strategy to get as much from men as possible in terms of providing for women and maintaining civilization while giving back as little in return. So ultimately yes, they will weaponize traditional gender roles when it makes them entitled to your services as a male but they will not evoke these obligations in any other situation.
So yes, the harlots and prostitutes of our age will still demand chivalry as if they were virgin noblewomen.

Events like Cornell were bound to happen and sadly necessary to remind society that ultimately if we can't currently hold women and men to the same standards due to all those years of evolution built up, then we're gonna have to swallow the crystal pill to see women can't handle those responsibilities. Yet. Maybe some day in the future they'll be able to but that century is not upon us at present.
Society's having to rethink having women in positions of power as a result of these events becoming way too of a common result of their presence in power chains.
Just look at the supposed judge who's to be deciding her case: she's already made public statements in the news about getting this girl "justice" - indicating just how fucking biased and incorrigible and unfit to judge she is.
The circus has become so silly it has cycled back to being unfunny. Comedic buffer overflow.

the cornell 7 is about how law does not apply to economic power, you need a proper state that has the laws and balls to apply the law regardeless of economic power

the fact that people want to make it about men vs women just means they want you to keep ignoring the fact that the oligarchy is literally a separate class

cant wait for the guillotine
>>
>>543739564
Good post anon, if we need laws to specify that men and women arent equal we should either change the laws or accept that men and women arent equal and stop pretending like they are.
>>
>>543739709
>the oligarchy is literally a separate class
They consider themselves a separate species but perhaps thats a topic for another time.
