Why aren't Americans taking these surgeon jobs and instead are being taken by Indians? I spoke with the surgeon a bit and he told me that he was goaded into becoming a surgeon by his family when he was a kid. He said that his brothers are also surgeons too and anyone that anyone in his family who didn't become a surgeon practically got disowned by the family. Why aren't Americans going for these jobs? Are Indians just better surgeons or are they smarter than Americans?
