Who are the candidates?

Son of former President, running on a platform to free his father. Currently the favorite to win the runoff.
>Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva
80-year old communist running for re-election. Widely blamed for the current economic crisis in Brazil.

FUCK Lula.
They supported India's petition to bar us from joining BRICS.
What was that faggot's reasoning???
HE said, allowing us in would make BRICS too anti America.
What was this anti American action we did?
We defied sanctions on Russia because without their fertilizers, we would starve to death.
Not even the US was mad. Not Biden, not Trump.
And yet, this godless bastard Lula wished to punish us on behalf of his American masters.
Allah curse that commie grifter fuck

Lula is as pro Israel as anyone else.
You really shouldn't use this as a criteria for anything .
Signalling being pro Israel is how brown politicians signal subservience to USA. Which Lula will also be when democrats come in power
>>543791563

Lula has said in the past that he is not and has never been a communist. But also the opposite. He says whatever depending on what's most beneficial. In practice he's a social democrat and his party follows. We have actual communist parties here, they're all meme status.

You may say yes or no depending on your perspective of politics.
>>
>>543791563
>Lula's external politics:
>Be as neutral as possible in all matters unless you literally can't. Sell and buy stuff from Israel and Palestine both. Support Ukraine and praise Putin. But also never criticize communist countries ever, to not lose votes from actual hardcore commies. Maintain good relations with both USA and said commie countries. Pretend you're a big player and diplomatic giant and hope everyone believes it. But in general, favor China.

>Bolsonaros' external politics:
>Ideologically ally yourself with USA and Israel in all matters. Know and admit you're an unimportant 3rd world country and behave as such. Go against any country declaring themselves communists and favor Christian nations over all else.

I watched most of Lula's allies losing their Senate, Governor and Congress bids today and I was so full of glee and happiness that I almost came right in my pants.
The truth is, I want Lula to get fucked, preferentially, I want him to die. Painfully, if possible.

I don't even care about what comes next.
He assfucked our economy, crime is the highest in over 20 years and somehow he still has a horde of fanatics that will vote for him, so I want for them to see him fail, pathetically, then after this I want him to die and his legacy be a fallen commie party that never went anywhere and left no new leaders behind, even though he stayed in power directly or indirectly for 20 years in our country.

Essentially, fuck Lula, and fuck you too if you think he should win (he won't)

The right elected 389 congressmen, the left, less than 100

We have confirmation that the leading multipolarity duginist in Brazil will be voting bolsonaro due to his issues with STF censorship. Machado is literally paid by the Kremlin to manage thinktanks here so this creates a horsehoe absurdist scenario where both the top 1 pro Russian and to 1 pro Ukraine (ancapsu) actors in Brazil support Bolsonaro due to issues with free speech
>>
>>543794523
Pre-election polling average had Lula up by about ~3% in the first round, and then Bolsonaro barely winning in the second.

The fact that Bolsonaro won in the first round too was the surprise.

>>543794771
Nothing concrete yet.
Augusto Cury said he won't support Lula no matter what but he can condition a support for Flavio.
Caiado said before the first round that he will definitely oppose Lula in the second round
And Renan said after the first round that he will never support Lula and that members of Missão (his party) are free to support Flávio if they want, though he doesn't want to support him.
>>
>>543795328
I should mention that all three of them are right wing, though Cury is a center-right moderate, Caiado is a conservative and Renan is kind of a libertarian right.
No other left wing candidate had any relevant voting numbers save for Lula. They were all stuck at 0%. No one know where Lula could possibly get the 3 million votes he needs to catch up with Flavio from. Probably nowhere.

But then you ask yourself to what extent you’re prepared to put up with all the corruption and abuse by the STF and Lula just to have a decent foreign policy. >Cury voters
>70% for Lula
You are absolutely insane.
The split will likely be, based on Cury's ideology and the polls that asked this specifically before the first round:
50% goes to flávio, 30% blank votes, 20% Lula.

>>543795913
They do but those never do anything for Lula in the second round, because he always peaks in the first, in 2022 Bolsonaro almost catched up in a over 10 million vote deficit going into the second round, even with 2 of the other candidates supporting Lula, which won't happen this time, and Flavio is ahead.

Lula's rejection in Brazil is very high, it is sitting at 53~54% right now, so those are the people that won't vote him no matter what.
There might be a debate or two but those won't do much, historically in Brazil if you won the first round, you always win the run off.
