Why do we waste so much potential of the top 10% of students by farting around the normies? Their is a cohort of every class capable of calc by 11 or 12. If you segregated them and taught them chemistry and calculus in middle school you would make huge strides in material sciences. I learned the quadratic equation in 6th grade because I skipped class and just worked out of the book.We fucked around with sin and cosign and the Pythagorean theorem for another five years. If you can't figure this shit out in a week its a sunk cost. Most of the modern world and nobel prizes in math and chemistry is a result of the Austro-hungarians sorting out the smart kids and teaching them chemistry and math like it was a language in the 1900s.
