The $5,000 checks and release of GTA6 may help but the amount of disinformation and mixture of both horrifying and real videos will have a large portion of the population going about business as usual far too jaded to even so much as discuss a potential pandemic. The vaccines could be a similar psychological lulling into programming a massive amount of distrust / fears into getting any “cures”. Although if it’s deadly enough and people start seeing their loved ones actually die, I doubt those fears and distrust will last long. Just a guess though.
