6 million jewish babies were launched from this cannon. The muzzle velocity was so high it would perform brises on the newborn infant, removing both their foreskin and aftskin.
Its hard to believe, but its true!

>>
>>543867481
Did *no one* in the German R&D or military try to tell Hitler that a tank of that size would need a nuke-tier shell to be even remotely worth building? The other wunderwaffen were at least trying to break new ground, but tanks really don't benefit from "it gets bigger"

It was railway gun, not a tank
>>
>>543867588

The biggest tank of the world has ever build...so big than it cannot move without falling deep in ground all the time....useless shit.
>>

Oh right, well good thing the allies didn't know about Germany's extremely open rail netwo- oh...
>>

>>543867481
Hitler & co. were pretty smart guys. So why did they build this? Siege weapon to use against ruskies?
>>
>>543867481
It was build to destroy the Maginot line, not our fault that you frogs surrendered in 1 month before it could came to use.

>800 mm shell

>"Is not needink to turn, Comrade, will drive straight to Berlin!"
WW2 is full of wacky shit, like the luftwaffe jet-powered helicopter/plane or the Soviets training suicide dogs (poorly), or the Americans training incendiary bats (poorly) or the Japanese trying to make a microwave beam weapon.

>The gun was designed in preparation for the Battle of France but was not ready for action when that battle began, and the Wehrmacht offensive through Belgium rapidly outflanked and isolated the Maginot Line, which was then besieged with more conventional heavy guns until French capitulation. Gustav was later deployed in the Soviet Union during the Battle of Sevastopol, part of Operation Barbarossa, where, among other things, it destroyed a munitions depot located roughly 30 m (98 ft) below sea level. The gun was moved to Leningrad, and may have been intended to be used in the Warsaw Uprising like other German heavy siege pieces, but the uprising was crushed before it could be prepared to fire. Gustav was destroyed by the Germans near the end of the war in 1945 to avoid capture by the Soviet Red Army

Interesting. Thanks. Sounds like it was a total waste of time and resources, but it looks so cool

I admit....they could shoot jews to sky by putting them inside that shell.

We should build even bigger guns and shoot down the Chinese space station with them.

That kind of sums up quite a lot of the German weapons research.

they used these things to shell Paris in ww1 for shits and giggles

Why are Germans so bad at war ? They literally lost both world wars they started.

well Nazi Germany did many things before others got to it.

Huh? The Panther was almost double the weight of most other militaries tanks and were so markedly superior that they still regularly won battles even when outnumbered by enemy armor 10 to 1.

You are confusing history with modern military principles.

Reminder that wuderwaffes are memes regardless of the side hyping then up, whether israeli lasers or iranian rockets, or whatever those perpetually angry slavs cook up for eachother.

Bismarck with Germany was the first nation who implemented a social system.
Worked great back then as long as the birthrate is positive but nowadays it will bankrupt our nations.

He did it as a temporary measure to prevent communists from getting into power, which was stupid since they couldn't either way. But either way, it was a temporary measure

>How do you aim with it?
I couldn't find a good picture that explains it, so enjoy my mspaint.

They'd setup a curved track that covered all the arcs of fire they wanted and just roll the thing back and forth along the track to adjust the horizontal aim.

That's the thing, you don't get to. The enemy will destroy it with one based paratrooper and 20$ worth of thermite and you'll never have to use it!

They went all out in 1870.
