It just takes something very small to kill you or one you love. My dad had a bad reaction to some medicine and ended up in the hospital ICU. The pajeet doctor sedated him with propofol. The next day he started to have multiple organ failure and we were told he was going to die. They even sent a pallative care nurse to try and convince us to do a DNR order. Did my own research and todl them to take him off propofol. They switched him to a different sedative and he immediately started to recover. He was released a few days later and lived another decade. I hate them so much.
