I don't know about other bugs, but lovebugs are an invasive species and native life caught up
It used to be that if you drove around in Louisiana in August you would get absolutely covered in lovebugs fucking. I mean BILLIONS of them everywhere you go, covering gas pumps, clogging your filter. The swarms were dense enough that it actually affected visibility.
Now predators have adapted and lovebugs don't just reproduce uncontested anymore.

They still exist. Go out to the country. It’s unbearable. At my parent’s home, being outside there is so uncomfortable. Within minutes it feels as if the nets are eating out my eyes.…Now they don’t spray their property for bugs.

I spray mine and the bugs are generally not a big issue where I live (suburb).

Perhaps the bugs have migrated to the rural areas.

good question
also almost no more birds around
crows, pidgeons, magpies were the norm
just casually landing on the pavement, hopping around, sitting on the trees or walls and looking for things or just talking
same goes for cats etc
used to see like at leas 2+ random cats of all races outside every day
alst time i saw a cat outside up close was in 2018 or 2019
but in modern times
nothing
also the sun is white bright as fuck during the day so that it hurts the eye
used to be more yellow/orange back in the day

They cut the foliage back from the road more.
Deer killed so many people in the US by jumping in front of cars.
As such they cut back grass a lot more, less bugs hanging out at the edge of the tree line.
Also, cars are insanely more aerodynamic.
There are parts of my car that accumulate a lot of bugs.

My house used to get covered in Junebugs/Mayflies, right on time every year, before 5G became widespread during covid. I haven't seen them in years. Their tiny brains are probably more susceptible to interference.

Meanwhile there were other aggressive freak flying insects I don't recall seeing at all in the 90s, and wasps of course. Also see roaches scurrying under street lights in the suburb.

You could walk across a lawn of 2 week growth in the 90s and grasshoppers would fly every which way. Now nothing. You see them on a sliding door at night. I saw more praying mantii than grasshoppers this summer, probably the fifth in a row.

Car manufacturers have optimized aero, specifically at the intersection of the end of the hood and the start of the windsheild. In the past most cars had a low pressure area here which sucked bugs down and wound up smacking the windsheild, this has been revised so bugs just get scooted up past the windsheild now.

There was far more abundant life on the planet when CO2 was 4x that of today.
The recent past has been a CO2 drought where it bottomed out at about 180ppm, photosynthesis stops at 150ppm.

And the retards saying 'CO2 has never gone up this fast' are retarded because there is no reference. We don't have ways of accurately measuring CO2 levels in terms of rise/fall to the extent of what we have done in the past 20 years.

Partially. The broader situation is that larger vehicles have more relaxed emissions and fuel economy requirements. So if they all make them into giant SUVs they can dodge stuff like 40mpg initiatives and requirements for compact consumer cars and go back to sub 20mpg ratings for large "luxury" vehicles. It's why you don't see 10k-20k vehicles anymore because they literally don't make consumer vehicles anymore, they're all technically "luxury" 40-60k vehicles now.
