It used to be really based up until the 1950s where they let men have multiple wives and put women in their place. But I think 70+ years of NGOs/USAIDs has pushed it towards more feminist shit.

I think if there was no "age of consent" laws in western countries today, the feminist hags that would be pushing for laws around it would 100% be putting minimum age of 20 and even pushing for maximum "gap" in age.

Marriage fixes all of this nonsense of course, but they won't want women to get married and start a family, they want her to waste her child bearing years and also have sex outside of it. There is no age where a woman suddenly becomes competent at deciding when to just have sex, her father should be the final judge and marriage is to protect her from men who are deceptive, who will say that oh yeah I love you baby, I will totally marry you but let's have sex first.
